MTV’s “Rapping with the stars”

MTV is jumping on the reality show bandwagon with their offering, “Rapping with the stars”.

Via Variety:

MTV is close to a development deal for “Rapping With the Stars,” a reality competition show that will pair celebs with hip-hop pros.
Project features teams squaring off in range of rap-oriented musical challenges. A hip-hop world panel will judge.

Deal is being negotiated with Giuliana DePandi from E! as well as Kimber Rickabaugh and Paul Miller from RickMill Prods and 3Arts.

I guess everyone wants a chunk of the American Idol pie, but I’m not going to get cable just to watch this nonsense and potential flop. If I’m going to watch MTV, I wanna see videos, plain and simple! Not to mention Headbangers Ball….(oh wait, I guess I just mentioned it…)
