Two new Beasties videos
Per Fark, I found these nifty little instrumentals by the Beastie Boys. Are they trying to get out of a contractual obligation or is this something that they intended to put out?
“The Rat Cage” sounds kind of hipster-groovy to me with a seventies-like feel. Have a listen:
And, here we have “Off The Grid”, which sounds like a totally different sound than what we’re used to hearing from the Beasties. Very slow, melodic, and harmonic. It’s music to groove to, as well. I like both, but part of me is still waiting on Mike D to bust out rapping.
