Dear U.K. - Keep Lily Allen
I really liked “Smile” and “Alfie” from the British singer, Lily Allen. She has since overstayed her welcome, literally.
Having her U.S. visa revoked, then stating that she won’t ever come back to America, Lily Allen also felt the need to slam George Bush and women’s magazine editors:
“This next one is about people who are awkward on the train, U.S. immigration officials and George Bush in general.” Contactmusic quoted Allen, as saying.,
“Who else can f**k off? People who edit fashion magazines… that makes us ladies feel awful. We’re all beautiful - it’s the heroin addict models who’ve got the problem,” she added.
Hate it here so much, stay out then. I don’t agree with George Bush either, but if you don’t like it, don’t come here. Over and out.

That’s a tad harsh!
I agree with her both about George Bush and Fashion magazine editors. But you have to realise that Lily says this stuff for reaction, that’s been part of her success and appeal.
Having said that, I’ll happily keep her, she’s a gem! ;)
