Apple lowers iPhone price & hypes up the iPod Touch

posted by roberta — Sep 5th, 2007

Via Apple’s home page, they have lowered the cost of the iPhone to only $399! This is news, considering how many people stood in line for hours upon hours to pay much more for the product. Most of the people that I know were waiting on the price to come down prior to purchasing one.
Now, the iPhone is that much more affordable.

Also, in other Apple news, they are hyping up the new features for the iPod:

As for the iPod Touch, Apple watchers had speculated for days that Apple would unveil an iPod similar to its new mobile phone. Though slimmer than the iPhone, the iPod Touch features a similar multitouch interface, built-in Wi-Fi and the Safari Internet browser.

The iPod touch sounds cool. What I’ve always liked about my cell phone is the ability to purchase songs on the fly. This feature in an Ipod should’ve went hand in hand from the beginning.

Here is a picture of the new Touch, by Apple:

  3. Thanks Richard!

Yes, they both look pretty cool. I won’t buy either just yet, but I agree, they’d both be cool to test out. I always love what Apple comes out with, they’ve always been innovative.
