Duran Duran has dropped Iraq song from Red Carpet Massacre

posted by roberta — Oct 4th, 2007

Sellouts!! Fearing that the song was too political and making their new album angry, Duran Duran dropped Criminals in the Capital from their new album.

Now it’s just going to sound like the rest of their music. Overdone.

I’m of the mind that music should reflect the times that we’re living in. Remember “Give peace a chance”?

  1. I think it was probably their producers afraid of cathing falck from the press…but what better way to get some publicity. Some of the best traffic I get is from shameless bush-bashing!

  3. Friday night drunken typing, I see :)

I would agree that it’s the producers that are giving them crap over putting controversial music out. I think they should do it anyways, though.

Yay for bush bashing, he deserves it!
