Bindi Irwin’s new gig: A RAPPER!
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.26, 2007, under articles

I was flipping out when I read the headlines that the daughter of the crocodile hunter, Bindi Irwin, is turning to hip hop! This girl is a marketing machine!!
The nine-year-old releases her debut hip-hop single Trouble In The Jungle next month (December).
Bindi’s song contains the lyrics: “I’m afraid of grizzly bears, but don’t you see / Grizzly bears should really be afraid of me/There’s trouble in the jungle / We find that mankind is not so kind at all.”
Since her father was killed by a stingray in September 2006, Bindi has launched a clothing line and a children’s fitness DVD, appeared in a stage show and become an official Australian tourism ambassador. Her manager John Stainton recently disclosed that Bindi also turned down the opportunity to star in a Hollywood movie.
Jeezus, that girl is being marketed more than Paris Hilton!’

Amy Winehouse angers fans | May go to to rehab finally
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.26, 2007, under articles

While Amy Winehouse may look normal in the first picture, take a closer look. First of all, her nose is bleeding. Too many drugs? In the last picture you can see that she looks very haggardly and desperately thin.
She was touring at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday, November 24th, when she appeared in smeared makeup and a cigarette hanging from her mouth. Not only was her appearance in a shambles, but she disappeared several times throughout the performance. This caused fans to boo and heckle the singer, and she ultimately left the stage, in the middle of her final song. The backup singer had to close out the show. This left fans asking for a refund for a shoddy performance.
According to reports, her mother, Janis Winehouse, has been trying to talk the fallen star into finally saying yes to rehab. Hopefully she can get through to her before it’s too late. Talent is a terrible thing to waste.

Bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea, has lost his home to the latest of the California blazes. His French-style mansion was worth $5 million. He confirmed the loss by text messaging the L.A. Times to tell them that his home “burnt to a crisp”.
Following the weekend’s fires, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has reactivated the state of emergency he declared last month and vowed to make aid available to those affected by the infernos.
The Governator will save you…..and Sarah Connor.
Fabolous friend Shemal MCKinney murdered
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.26, 2007, under articles

Rapper Fabolous is in mourning after a childhood friend and associate was fatally wounded on Friday. The Diamonds star’s pal Shemal MCKinney was spotted by police stumbling out of New York nightclub Duvet at 3:30am, bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
It is understood he was stabbed by three unidentified men while a fight broke out between two women. MCKinney, 25, later died at St Vincent’s hospital at 4:10 am. Police investigating the incident found a seven-inch folding knife covered in blood in a nearby dumpster, and are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the club to establish how the knife was smuggled into the club.
Rest in peace, Shemal. We didn’t know you, but we know what it’s like to lose a friend.
Britney Spears is planning adoption of two Chinese children
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.25, 2007, under articles

And not only that, Britney is also sinking money into planning her own funeral. What a freakin weirdo!
Not that pre-planning is bad or anything….but firstly, she is trying to adopt two Chinese children to fill the void left by her two children with uber loser Kevin Federline.
She can’t get her two natural children, through every fault of her own, so she replaces them with Chinese babies?
And she keeps wearing those hideous boots!! I don’t know what the bigger tragedy is!
The Romantics sue Activision over Guitar Hero song
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.23, 2007, under articles

80′s rockers, The Romantics are suing Activision, the makers of Guitar Hero Rocks the 80′s.
The game, which uses a version the band’s “What I Like About You” recorded by musicians that the band claims sound too much like them.
The suit, filed November 20th in federal District Court in Detroit, claims that the sound-alike recording of the song improperly imitates the band’s sound, which the members have developed since 1979. The recording makes it “virtually indistinguishable from the authentic version” and confuses consumers into believing that the band actually recorded the music and endorsed the product, the suit says.
In my opinion, they are trying to extend that fifteen minutes. The Romantics are so yesterday and should be counted lucky enough to be included in the Guitar Hero series of video games.
