You goth kids have it so ass backwards. I actually used to like MM, but then i grew out of it…never got into the “goth” aspect of it because it all seemed a little too cheesy. You try so hard to separate yourself from society and then cry when people don’t accept you. You scream non conformity…but you all look the same in your “Goth” uniform.
I’m sure there are a million parents out there that kept their kids foreskins…but most of them just keep the umbilical cord.
And lastly, there comes a time when you have to separate yourself from the show and real life. Even Alice Cooper, Kiss and the rest of them know that. The shock factor has come and gone…now he just looks like a fool, starved for attention and thats the only way he’s going to get noticed is to dress as if everyday is Halloween. One day you too will reflect on yourself at this point in time and laugh it off and you too will be criticizing the next batch of fools that comes along.

im not screaming nonconformity, im not trying to avoid society or anything like that. i just think that our society sucks… we breed people to believe that life is just a popularity contest, that it doesnt matter how fucking nice you are to other people or how much shit you take from stupid people, its all about how many people you know and whether or not those people are “cool.” All of these fucking people that think theyre “cool” gang up on people like manson, all the god damn christian martyrs that arent even really christian, people that are fake, people that could probably learn something from people like manson about their own damn religion. im not sayin that manson is a fucking god, or that hes the greatest man in the world, i just think that hes a person just like every other fucking one of us, and to put him below you is a sin against pretty much every religion, a crime against our country (freedom of expression), and overall, just a really shitty thing to do. now that im done with the manson part, i can talk about how i DONT have things ass backwards. i dont look for acceptance, i dont care what the fuck other people think of me. my best take on popularity is that, if someone is going to look at me and judge me and make me who i am by the way i look, then they dont deserve to be in my life. youre talking about the stupid little pseudogoth kids that really dont know shit about what being goth is about. i dont have some fucking goth uniform, some days i wear bondage pants, some days i wear just plain black pants, some days i wear bracelets, some days i dont, some days i wear fishnets, some days i dont, and about once a week i wear makeup…. i dont know how thats a consistent uniform, but i guess…. youre right, cuz youre always right. cuz you have someone to pick on. youre stereotyping every god damn individual that wears black, that looks somewhat in any way like they could be called “goth,” im not out there to “fight the man”, im not out there to “be friends with everyone”, and most of all im not out there to be “cool”, im gonna be who i want, when i want, and no one in this world is gonna tell me different and if anyone tells me im wrong, i can very easily explain to them why they are in fact wrong for saying that the way i choose to live my life is wrong for me, since i know what is best for me

Lets talk about freedom of expression because I think I’m free to express the way I feel about Manson. I don’t put him below me. I just think that he’s had his time…and it’s over. The same thing with Kiss…now all they are out for is marketing their legacy. Your right, society does suck and I couldn’t agree with you more about the popularity contest, but one day you too will learn that sometimes you have to just roll with the punches and accept the fact that life is just one big ball of shit and we’re all dung beetles pushing it along. Um, actually his most recent album sucked. Was I the only one who heard the “manufactured”-ness of it, and subsequently thought it was funny since he used to be very anti-manufactured music. It may as well be the music that comes out of a Casio mini-piano when you push one of the “music” buttons on top. His interviews used to show what an intelligent man he is. If you’ve ever seen an interview with both him and Dita (yeah, I know they aren’t together anyore) he makes her uncomfortable and is a giant dick.
