Bon Jovi turns down a $1 mil book deal

The band members of Bon Jovi are refusing to sell out to the tune of one milllllllllllionnnn dolllllllarrrssss.

I am sure that they have lived the lives of the true rock stars that they are, but they are keeping mum on any tell-alls:

Bon Jovi says, “One of those big publishers gave us a million dollars recently to write a book about our experiences but we just gave the money right back because it’s no one’s business.

“They wanted the cliched story about being a rock star and I’m not going to tell them. It doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, it just means isn’t there anything more important to talk about.”

They are probably just spotlighting this to bring new publicity to their new album. Good effort, guys.

    I think he`s half right.Things happened, poeple developed…like anywhere else in the world.So why shoud they go public with bad days on tour or great moments in a show?
    but I`m a really big fan and I would read a book like this.I`d be glad about a book that is written by Jon hisself.

    Jon doesn’t need the money. He is a down to earth man. Not one who id caught up in the Hollywood scene. Makes me love him more.

    Why are people so fascinated by other people's lives? I have loved Bon Jovi since the beginning of my time :) but seriously what business is it of ours to want to pry into their lives? I give kudos to the guys for saying no. These guys are just great rockers making great music!
