Bret Michaels will be in Rock of Love 2

So, it’s been confirmed that there will be a season two of Rock of Love and Bret Michaels will be making an encore performance. My hunch is that the producers of the show wanted the reunion show to go the way that it did, so that it would leave the door open for a new season.

Because what happens if Bret and Jes/Heather really did fall in love and live happily ever after? No new show. So Bret keeps the 51 Minds money making machine happy and will star in the new season:

Over 3.9 million total viewers tuned into the “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels” reunion special this past Sunday night (October 7) to learn that Bret’s love match was a mismatch. VH1 will continue to help Bret find his “rose” and announces today that a second season of the record-breaking series will premiere on VH1 in early 2008.

    Of course Bret will be in another season of Rock of Love. The casual viewer does not know that each night of his life is a Rock of Love type event. I think Lacey said it best on the reunion show, when she was mentioning that Bret wants to be in the public eye. Well, duh. He still sells out converts everywhere, people shell out money for CD’s, merchandise, etc., and the producers like the fact they found a likeable-made for TV-kind of guy. It’s a win-win-win for everyone involved.
