According to reports, Britney Spears had the chance to snatch up “Umbrella” before Rihanna was offered the smash hit single. Rihanna loved it, but was told it was on hold for Britney. Apparently Britney’s people never called back.

Go Rihanna, you were the best choice for that song, anways.

Britney, if you keep ignoring hits, you’re gonna be a has-been.
