California couple borrows $100k to put on a Twisted Sister concert

A California couple took out a loan for $100,00 to put on a Twisted Sister concert, to benefit the Southern California families of military personnel in Iraq. So this is a good thing, right?
Sure, if you think they can sell the 4,300 seats needed to actually make a profit and benefit the families of the troops in some way.
I don’t know how big 80s concerts are these days, especially in California. Having said that, I’d go if it were closer to home. Hopefully they will do alright for themselves and the families of the troops. Somehow I don’t think this is going to happen. I would’ve been shopping around for a band that’s willing to donate their time to benefit those families.
