Children of James Brown contest his will
by Roberta Ferguson on December 30, 2007 | Comments Off

Five children of the late James Brown are saying that his will should be invalidated due to the undue influence that his advisors used to get him to create charitable trusts that they would benefit from.
They are saying that they are sure that he wanted to donate something to charity, but the will has been “clouded in mystery”.
The bulk of the money from Brown’s estate was set up to benefit the education of his grandchildren as well as needy kids.
No one really knows how much money the estate has, so that’s another fact that’s clouded in mystery.
The lawyers are saying that no one told James Brown what to do. The grandchild that is set to benefit from the tuition money from the will is saying that his children are just trying to break the charities to get the money.
If James Brown only had a few dollars, this would be a non-issue. He was rich, so everyone has to try and get their share of money that he probably wouldn’t have wanted them to have.
