Def Leppard frontman, Joe Elliott, turned 48 on August 1st! I think he still looks great for his age.

    I just heard that the band had to cancel some shows in Canada due to Joe’s illness. Aw, poor doll. I would love to be his nurse…hmmmmm…I can’t help it. This guy does things to me. He is just so beautiful.

    While I was never really crazy about Joe, I must say the guy is looking pretty nifty for a man nearing his 50′s. However, I’m a little put off by his ego. He never lets any of the other Leps talk. Especially poor Sav. He almost never gets a word in edgewise whenever Joe’s around, but he looks as though he wants to speak up at times. I personally think Sav has a much sexier voice than Joe and while Joe always uses cheesy metaphores, Sav gets to the point. I’m not bashing Joe, I’m sure he’s a lovely guy…but I’m a Sav girl from day one.

    Joe egotistical????? No way! If he is so “egotistical”, then why does he speak highly of other people while poking fun at himself? If anything, Joe is one of the few non-egocentric rock stars out there. The reason he tends to talk alot during interviews is because he is the least shy, with Phil Collen being the second most vocal of the band. But at least he does let his bandmates get a word in during interivews. Wanna see an egotistical rock star? Take a look at Simon LeBon from Duran Duran. He’s such a ham he talks right over his bandmates whenever they try to talk, if they even get to do so. I think you got alot of your misinfomation from that horrendous VH1 so-called “bio flick” that came out several years ago that depicted Joe as being a total prick and Rick Allen as a spoiled brat. All the guys in Def Leppard are really nice and down to earth. Rick Allen is the cutest and the hottest in my opinion, but I must say Mr. Elliott is quite a treat for the eyes…and aging quite beautifully I must say.

    I think Joe’s aging really well. Howeve, I hate to say it, but a couple of years ago, one of my girlfriends told me that she had a very unpleasant experience meeting him after a concert. She said he was very rude and kind of dissed her when she asked for his autograph. But she mentioned how she noticed that he was being more than acomidating to all the skinny little blondies who look like the old Britney Spears. So, that kind of put me off to him. She also mentioned that Sav was really odd as was Vivian and she didn’t even bother meeting Rick Allen because he beat his wife. But she said that of all of them, Phil Collen was the nicest and most fan friendly. He even took the time to have a chat with her. So, I’ve never pesonally met Joe, but after my fiend’s story, I think it’s safe to say I’m no longer a fan of his. He should consider himself lucky that he still has fans out there.

    Joe is definitely the man for me – I ran my hand up his leather-clad thigh at a concert a couple of years ago (should have inched a bit higher but didn’t have the nerve!) he looked down at me and smiled cheekily into my eyes – my god if I hadn’t been so hooked before that, I’d have fallen in love in that instant. (I’d like to point out just in case that the photo above is NOT what he looks like now – it’s from the 80′s! He’s now got shorter hair, a bit of a raddled face and struggles with his weight! I love a belly anyway so he’s still the sexiest man on earth whatever!

    Yeah. I personally prefer men who have some fat on them. I don’t know why exactly. I just think it’s sexier because men who have chisled bodies tend to think highly of themselves. And, OMIGOD, you actually did that?!?!?! I don’t think I’d ever have the guts to do that sort of thing. Especially since he’s married and all. But, more power to you. He is, indeed, the sexiest man alive.

    joe still drives me crazy to this day with his understated sex appeal and his crazy gorgeous looks. but i do prefer when he had longer hair, circa “Adrenalize”. but he is still really, really hot and he is alot sexier than most guys in their twenties.

    OMIGOD!!! This can’t be happening!! Def Leppard pulls a Britney Spears/Ashlee Simpson on “Dancing With the Stars”!!

    They were actually lip-syncing!! Joe and the guys are always criticizing people like Ashlee and Britney for not being real performers and for lip-syncing during all their so-called “performances”….and they do the exact same thing last night!

    It’s bad enough they’ve been using the same producers who’ve worked on all of Britney’s past albums, but now they’re taking “performing” cues from her, too?!?!?! Let’s just hope they all don’t wind up shaving their heads and running people down with their cars!

    I don’t care if he loses all his hair and has to wear a comb-over, or if he gains 100 pounds…Joe Elliott will always be the sexiest man in the entire world!! I think he’s sexier than Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jude Law, Justin Timberlake, Colin Farrell, Mario Lopez and every other so-called “stud” out there now!! I’ll go out on a limb and say he’s sexier than Megan Fox and Scalett Johansson….HECK, HE’S SEXIER THAN JUST ABOUT ANYBODY!!!

    Rick Savage is by all means the most attractive Def Leppard member, or at least he was. Joe was better looking when he had longer hair. I’m really not liking the Prince Valiant haircut! Sad fact: men do not age well.

    I admit back then I was a Sav girl. I thought he was the single most beautiful male specimen on the face of the planet with all that beautiful hair and those crystal eyes. Never thought too much of Joe up until a few years ago when I watched them on the Rock Honors concert. Joe was wearing those tight leather pants and Sav was wearing some white outfit…I rest my case. Joe is aging quite beautifully. Sav…well I’ll go easy on him because of the Bell’s Palsy.

    just caught new interview with joe from some kind of talk show….i hate to say it but the man is not looking the way he used to.his hair looks awful and looks like he hasn’t washed it in decades and he’s starting to grow another head.i almost hate to say it but britney spears seems to be aging alot better because her hair’s in place and so is her body.i know it’s weird comparing a woman and a man,but as long as brit’s name came up i have to say she is looking alot better than our joe!

    Joe Elliott…..how smokin’ hot is this man?!!!! Saw all these “english muffins” at their tour opener in Greensboro, NC and it left me……breathless!!!! They seem to get hotter every year, especially our JOE! This man is so incredibly sexy….ladies, come on now. Who among you can really listen to the lyrics of “Tonight” (on the “Adrenalize” album) and not…well, you know!!!!! He says it all there, doesn’t he!!!! Or the opening lines of “Love and Affection”…..(is it getting hot in here or is it just me?)…….Why do I love Leppard’s music (besides Joe and that freakin’ sexy voice?)…..because it speaks to a woman’s heart…..a lot of the songs (especially the ballads) say the things all us ladies long to hear. They are and always will be my favorite band. And hey, cut ‘em a break about the Dancing With the Stars performance. Joe and Phil were both recovering from illness and, hey, a lip-sync performance by Leppard is better than no performance at all!!!!!!!

    Hi all i think that joe elliot is pure sex on legs went to see them in concert with white snake and it was pure amazing the best day of my life i was totally star struck we where so close to them, i have loved def leppard for as long as i can remember and joe is getting better looking with age keep it going joe you are sooooo hot…..xo

    Joe Elliott is still the smouldering sex god he was in 1983′s video for Foolin’. The modern day equivalent is Canada’s “idol” winner Kalen Porter. I swear he is Joe’s love child!     I have loved Joe Elliott since I first saw him in concert in Birmingham NEC UK 1987. He is not what I would call a natural beauty but he does have the most gorgeous eyes I call them Leppard eyes very unique. Whatever happened to his girfriend Carla I always thought he would marry her and what a shame he does not have any children. I come from Dublin in Ireland but came to live in the UK in 1985 I wish I knew where Joes Garage is in Ireland I would love to meet him one day.

    he did marry karla. They divorced years ago. He is now married to his second wife kristine. They have been married four years now. And as far as them lip syncing on dancing with the stars, that was the rule for that show, not a decision on the Leps part so go easy on them!! And as far as Joe not having kids, some say he cant have children as he had the mumps twice and sometimes that can render a man sterile. Other than that, not all people have to have children to be happy. I have no children by choice and live a very full happy life and can do things now that i couldnt do if i had kids. Maybe Joe just likes to be free and able to do what he wants without all the restraints kids put on a person. He may just be a free spirit like me.

    i do love me some joe however i recently read an interview he did about a year ago and he at one point mentioned something about wanting to go down on britney spears. i think he was asked about britney spears flashing her private parts and when she went all nuts and shaved her hair off. he said something like, “man, i can’t believe i actually wanted to go down on this girl way back when! but that was back when she was still a teen virgin, or we all thought she was a virgin anyway!” man, i hope his wife didn’t/doesn’t read that.

    I seen Def Leppard in 1983 when they opened for Billy Squire before they hit it big in the US…I remember Mr. Elliott was wearing just a pair of Union Jack boxer shorts and I was too drunk to remember much else!!!
