This one isn’t as bad as the one we showed you the other day, but I’m not feeling this song, either. “Got the Hots” is featured on the Japanese version of the new Thriller.

This song is bland, boring and it’s got this “heard it all before, but the other song was ten times better” thing going on. Shit, this sounds like the kinda stuff they’d be playing on some obscure radio station at three o’clock in the morning. Why is it so hard for people to listen to MJ’s stuff objectively, for Christ’s sakes! Can it be so hard to finally internalize that every third rate artist can do miles better than this??

This song is in fact… HOT. don’t listen to this review or anyone talking that ish. Go to Amazon.com or the itunes store and listen to a high quality preview. You’ll agree, this song is a long lost hidden gold by MJ. BTW, Maggie – Earsucker, go listen to some pop punk or something, its obvious you don’t know good music… ALSO Editor person, just because a song isnt a hit in America doesnt mean its bad dooshbag. In America, MTV plays no music anymore, the radio play the same three most popular (usually sucky) songs over and over again, with the exception of Indie 103.1 and KCRW. Thank god for these radio stations, they are really working on restoring Americas view on good music and radio…
MJ has such a bad rep in America its really not surprising that this album is so hard to find in the states. I was lucky enough to find this album at Amoeba, Will.I.Am has some remixes and Kanye West has a remix too but “Got the Hots” is my favorite addition to this anniversary edition CD. BTW Thriller is still one of the greatest Albums of all time. F the haters, you got nothing on MJ Beotches.
Never heard that song Got the Hots, but I heard the deut with Akon,( Hold My Hand ) and while it was mostly Akon singing, MJ sounded pretty good. I think Akon was wrong to keep it off his album.
This song is MJ’s best unreleased track EVER, and I’ve gotten my hands on 95% of the unreleased stuff. Thriller would have been different if this would have made the cut so I’m glad it didn’t. But this should have been a STAND ALONE SINGLE for a soundtrack in 83, 84 or something. This is awesome. It’s a high energy dance track like no other I heard from him during the 80’s with the exception of WBSS and PYT. As a 30 year music buff the reviews are wrong – I’ve GOT THE HOTS for this one.
