Coldplay unveil the name of their new album: Viva La Vida

Viva La Vida, which means “long live life” is going to be the name of Coldplay’s fourth album, Chris Martin says.

I think it reminds me too much of La Vida Loca, which is what I almost typed instead. Doh!

Chris says he’s used to people picking on him for his naming choices, though, because he named his kids Apple and Moses.

If you’re interested, the album is due to be released June 17th.

  2. it doesn’t matter what that titlle reminds people.important is what contains.and the words of the songs don’t have nothing incommon with la vida loca.
