Dave Mustaine files for divorce again from Pamela, his wife of 17 years
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.10, 2008, under articles
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has filed for divorce for the second time.
He submitted papers seeking a legal separation from his wife of 17-years, Pamela in San Diego Superior Court on February 28th. He last filed for divorce in 2006, but soon changed his mind.
He was chatting online with fans on the Gigantour forum on February 20th and said, “I am losing my marriage so I am done touring after this so I can move on with my life. I just have had my heart broken and I live for my two children and you (fans) now.”
He added, “I had to shut the Megadeth eBay store because it was one of my future ex’s friends and she told me I wasn’t a good enough Christian and also sent money to someone that claimed I owed her month. I flipped and that was it. Two days later I was in Finland and heading for divorce.”
The couple have two children, Justis and Electra.

Eddie Van Halen is back in rehab?
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.05, 2008, under articles
Even though the Van Halen tour may not be canceled, rumors are now surfacing that Eddie Van Halen is back in rehab.
Representatives for the rockers insist the tour is still on, despite announcing Van Halen “is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures.”
Now, reports are coming out saying that the guitarist has checked himself into a clinic near San Antonio, Texas, so that he could detox for a week. Apparently, him and his son Wolfgang had a fight.
A show insider says, “It was the big what-if of the tour, whether Eddie could stay sober. Wolf hates it when his dad drinks. He knew Eddie was drunk onstage that night, and was acting cold to him, which set Eddie off. Eddie went berserk and started yanking guitar cables from the pedal boards and throwing cigarettes around onstage. At the end of the concert, Eddie was so mad at Wolf, he punched the amp speaker, knocking it over.”
Wow, that’s just crazy! I hope Eddie can get his crap together already.

And Randy Jackson said that Johns reminds him of Michael Hutchence? Ummm…that was INXS dummy.

Daisy from Rock of Love 2 “sings” the national anthem
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.04, 2008, under articles
I haven’t really been following Rock of Love 2 as much as I should be, but God this broad is retarded.
The bobbleheaded blonde, Daisy, is helping put on a USO show for veterans by “singing” the national anthem.
I guess it would help if she knew the words, right? Doh! And to add insult to injury, there are people there, holding up cue cards with the words on them! Dumb!!
Another reason why Trent Reznor rocks
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.04, 2008, under articles
If you haven’t gotten your copy of Ghosts I-IV yet, then at the NIN website, Trent says that the servers are now up and running.
He said, however, if you didn’t get it (because of the servers being down, then get it from Amazon, or just go to the Pirate Bay and pretty much steal it.
Ya gotta love it.
Scott Weiland leaves rehab
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.04, 2008, under articles
Scott Weiland has been discharged from a rehab center after staying a full 28 days. The singer, who fronts both Velvet Revolver and the reformed Stone Temple Pilots is “doing well”, according to his attorney.
The singer had a long history of drinking and drug related problems, which have gotten him a DUI offense, as well as being caught buying crack. He also faces DUI charges after he was arrested in November.
At least he’s on the right track.

R.I.P. Jeff Healey
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.03, 2008, under articles
In case you haven’t already heard, blues master Jeff Healey has passed away at the young age of 41.
He was fighting a rare form of cancer that claimed his eyesight when he was only one and lost his battle against the cancer yesterday evening. This comes right before he was set to release his new album, Mess of Blues.
Rest in peace, Jeff, you’re a legend. He is survived by his wife Christie and two children; daughter Rachel, 13 and son Derek, 3.
Top 10 songs I’m listening to right now
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.03, 2008, under articles

The Music Channel presents our top ten songs of what we’re listening to now. Mine is a quirky list mixed of old and new. I’m weird, I know. I love older music, thus the Led Zeppelin, but I also dig the newer stuff, so I included Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse.
So, here’s mine:
In a nifty little Imeem playlist….enjoy :)

Def Leppard’s album, Songs From The Sparkle Lounge gets a release date of April 29th
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.02, 2008, under articles
The band will also debut their new single, Nine Lives Apr. 29 on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! the next day. Nine Lives was co-written with country superstar Tim McGraw.
The 11 tracks on the album include the titles:
Go
Nine Lives
C’mon C’mon
Love, Tomorrow
Cruise Control
Hallucinate
Only The Good Die Young
Bad Actress
Come Undone
Gotta Let It Go.
Woot, I can hardly wait. However, they can keep Nine Lives if it’s featuring Tim McGraw singing. We’ll have none of that.

This is great. I know it’s old, but check it out anyway.
Here’s the dean of Columbia Business School doing a spoof of The Police’s Every Breath You Take. He’s singing about wanting Alan Greenspan’s job that went instead to New Fed Chair Ben Bernanke.
