Stone Temple Pilots reunited in Los Angeles, last night

Newly reformed Stone Temple Pilots played for the first time in eight years last night. They only played a 30 minute, six song set in the Hollywood Hills…..I’m sure it rocked.
Even though STP didn’t really get a whole lot of attention in the 90’s, they’re set to blow up this time around. Especially after Scott Weiland and Slash really rocked out Velvet Revolver. And they rocked in concert, too.
If he can bring the same energy back to STP, I’ll go and see them live.
Are you an STP fan?

Just a question…
Why do all the news outlets keep saying it’s been 8 years since STP has done a show?
Their last tour was in 2002, and if my math is correct, that would make it six years.
Anyways, STP is my second favorite band. Glad to see them back. They put on a great show, everyone should see them.
BTW, I think they were pretty big in the 90’s, just not as big as some of the Seattle bands ; )

Hmmm…that’s interesting….I did read that it had been eight years……crazy…I’ll update this to six, then.
I love STP, but I was diggin’ VR with Scott Weiland, too…..who knows what’s going to happen now, right?

LOL, I wasn’t picking on ya, I was seriously curious. I don’t get how these outlets got it wrong. But thanks for fixing that, it pleases my anal retentivenes.
I’m glad that Scott is back with STP, but I too am in the minority of people that liked him in VR. Actually, it seems that once he got booted everyone came out of the woodwork to say how bad it was.
The music industry is pretty crazy, VR could get anyone from Billy Idol to Courtney Love to some American Idol failure. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
