Bret Michaels didn’t find true love

Bret Michaels says now that he found a really cool girl that likes music, but he didn’t go on the show to find true love.
I said this from day one: I went into this to have fun and maybe find someone to like. True love is not going to be found instantly on a TV show. That is only for scripted shows. Scripted reality, they give someone a show. It is the reason “Rock of Love†has been the No. 1 show. It has been kept as real as possible. Anyone thinking they are going into a TV show finding love, they might find someone that they like and eventually learn to like them more. I think finding true love, I never went in with that intent.
But, but, but….wasn’t him that said he wasn’t looking for his “Rock of like or Rock of lust” ?????
What a d-bag. If there’s a Rock of Love 3, it better be with another guy, cuz those poor girls were probably fooled into thinking that they’d have a shot with a real rock star and not some schmuck.

Rock of Love season finale recap
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.14, 2008, under articles
There are no pictures in this post, because I suck today.
Did anyone watch the season finale of Rock of Love 2 last night?
I watched most of it, but had to flip back and forth between that and the Dirt season finale, so forgive me for the last 30 minutes, which probably sucked anyways.
It all came down to Jes and Heather Ambre & ditsy Daisy.
He took both of the girls to Cancun to make his final decision.
He took Ambre out first to see if he could establish some kind of intimate/sexual relationship with her. She advised him at the end of their date that she wasn’t wearing any underwear. Badabing, that was enough for Bret. He shagged her….but not before he gave her a necklace.
Next morning, Ambre goes back to the hotel and has some words with the ultra-trash bucket Daisy. She was obviously jealous, but you couldn’t tell because her plastic face never hardly moved.
Daisy then went on her date with Bret and barfed on the boat. He took her back so (I hope) she could brush her teeth, cuz he kissed her later. She is a total flake. He shagged her too, cuz that’s what guys do. But not before he gave her the same cheesy necklace that he gave Ambre.
He sent her happy butt back to the hotel room. Ambre and her proceeded to argue some more because they had to figure out how to make the show last that other 30 minutes.
Then **Channel flip here** it’s a little fuzzy because the show got stupid and I didn’t want to wait for whatever happened between him banging the plastic barbie doll and the elimination.
Fast forward to two minutes before the show ends. He picked Ambre. Hallelujah and praise Jesus. He probably knows that there isn’t going to be a Rock Of Love 3.

I know, I know…that phrase has totally jumped the shark. But, seriously, after reading this crap, you might agree.
First off, take a good, long look at the above picture. That’s Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. Quite the looker, huh?
Now read this:
Pink Floyd star Roger Waters is delighted he now attracts legions of young women at his live shows – because they’re more likely to wave their knickers at him.
Really?!?!???!!!!??????????
Disclaimer: I actually love Pink Floyd’s music & can/will listen to them any day of the week. BUT, I would never toss, fling, or otherwise throw my undies in their general direction.

And I didn’t get the memo.
When Lindsay Lohan was in a car accident last May, Perez Hilton (still not linking to him) apparently said that the cocaine that was found belonged to DJ Samantha Ronson.
The case was tossed out and Samantha had to pony up $75k to Perez.
Now she wants to reopen the lawsuit, claiming that her old attorney didn’t fight the case to the best of his ability.
50 Cent sued over gangster lifestyle

Don’t they mean ‘gangsta’ lifestyle?
50 Cent has been sued for promoting violence and crime by James Rosemond, a 14-year-old, who claims to have been assaulted by friends of the rapper.
James and his mother Cynthia Reed have filed a lawsuit on Wednesday alleging that Universal Music Group, G-Unit, Shady, and Interscope Records are liable for encouraging attacks like this.
Rosemond said he was assaulted last year by four guys, including Tony Yayo, and one his employees, because he was wearing a Czar Entertainment shirt.
“The members of G-Unit, including defendants Yayo and 50 Cent, encouraged, sanctioned, approved and condoned its members threatening violence, and or engaging in violent acts in furtherance of its business,” the lawsuit said, according to the Reuters news agency.
They’re saying that the attack was intended to promote Yayo and 50′s ‘gangsta’ image.
Yayo and his employee pleaded guilty to charges relating to the attack and his employee was sentenced to nine months in jail for child endangerment.

In case you didn’t know, Idol Gives Back raised $22 million.
Of that amount, Britney Spears felt the need to donate $25,000 to the cause.
The dork didn’t even know what malaria was, she had to google it. Thankfully, her google-fu is strong, cuz she felt bad that little young ‘uns were dying from skeeter bites.
A Spears insider said, “She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria.”
She did it all on her own??? What is she, two?

Mariah Carey sympathizes with Britney Spears

Mariah Carey says that she sympathizes with Britney Spears because she understands how hard it can be living your life under the media spotlight.
She says, “It’s easy to say, ‘With Britney, this and that didn’t work out,’ but I’m not that presumptuous.
“I’ve experienced it myself. Setbacks come if you lead your life in the public eye and let people get closer to you than you should.“But it was never as dramatic with me as it was with Britney. I’ve never done hard drugs and I always had a firm hold of somewhere.”
She’s always had a firm hold of somewhere? What on Earth does that mean?!?
Scott Weiland’s wife instigated STP reunion

Scott Weiland’s wife Mary is to credit for the reunion of the once defunct Stone Temple Pilots.
Apparently, she called guitarist Dean DeLeo and asked him to play at a party last year as a favor.
He tells MTV.com, “Mary called me, because (bassist) Robert and I have this band with (Tom Petty + the Heartbreakers drummer) Steve Feronne, doing this big 12-piece band (Farm Fur), and Mary called me, because there was some private party she was involved with, and she asked us to play. And then she said, ‘Scott’s here. Do you want to talk to him?’ And we started chatting.”
And singer Weiland is convinced it was this phone call that led to the decision to reform and embark on a 2008 tour.
They’re planning to play their gig as STP again on May 20th in Cleveland. Woot!

Legendary rockers Kiss have decided to pull out of their concert in Serbia that was slated for May 15th.
They cite political tensions as the reason for the cancellation and the organizers are refunding the tickets that fans purchased for the show.
The Lupa Agency has apologized to the fans, releasing this statement:
“The members of the band regret to inform you that the concert has to be cancelled, but the situation in Serbia does not leave them much choice. However, they hope they will perform in Serbia on some other occasion.”
Stone Temple Pilots reunited in Los Angeles, last night

Newly reformed Stone Temple Pilots played for the first time in eight years last night. They only played a 30 minute, six song set in the Hollywood Hills…..I’m sure it rocked.
Even though STP didn’t really get a whole lot of attention in the 90′s, they’re set to blow up this time around. Especially after Scott Weiland and Slash really rocked out Velvet Revolver. And they rocked in concert, too.
If he can bring the same energy back to STP, I’ll go and see them live.
Are you an STP fan?

Bobby Brown says he doesn’t attack Whitney Houston in his new book
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.06, 2008, under articles
Rumors about Bobby Brown’s autobiography are running rampant, saying that the former star attacked his ex-wife and said that she got him into the harder drugs.
Now he’s denying that the book does nothing but attack Whitney Houston, insisting that he has nothing bad to say about her.
He’s still a douchebag. Oh, what we do for some publicity.
Scott Weiland hits back at Velvet Revolver rumors
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.02, 2008, under articles
And the feud continues!
Apparently, Scott Weiland didn’t care too much for the “veiled trickery” of his fellow ex-bandmates in Velvet Revolver.
Scott says in a statement to MTV.com, “After reading the comment by Duff, Matt, Dave and the illustrious Guitar Hero, Saul Hudson, a.k.a. Slash, I find it humorous that the so-called four ‘founding members’ of Velvet Revolver would decide to move on without me after I had already claimed the group dead in the water on March 20th in Glasgow.”
“In response to Slash’s comment regarding my commitment (to the band), I have to say it is a blatant and tired excuse to cover up the truth. The truth of the matter is that the band had not gotten along on multiple levels for some time. I choose to look forward to the future and performing with a group of friends I have known my entire life, people who have always had my back. This also speaks of my commitment to my music and my fellow bandmates in (Stone Temple Pilots) and to the fans who I feel would much rather watch a group of musicians who enjoy being together as opposed to a handful of discontents who at one time used to call themselves a gang.” Weiland goes on to warns fans not to be “fooled by veiled trickery” and offering up a suggestion for his replacement, saying, “I think Sebastian Bach would be a fantastic choice.”
Could you imagine Sebastian Bach fronting Velvet Revolver?!??
Update: Considering the alternatives, I actually could picture Bas as the singer in VR. He rocks!

Scott Weiland axed from Velvet Revolver
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.02, 2008, under articles
Velvet Revolver has given the axe to former frontman Scott Weiland because they say that he wasn’t committed to them 100 percent.
In a statement by the band, they say this about his departure:
“This band is all about its fans and its music and Scott Weiland isn’t 100 per cent committed to either. Among other things, his increasingly erratic onstage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on.”
Stone Temple Pilots’ fans will be happy, though, because they’re planning to announce their reunion tour next week.
Stay tuned!
