I saw Def Leppard on Dancing with the Stars only by chance. They were awesome (as usual) and Joe was too hot! As a 47 year old, I believe I am qualified to make this statement as we are from the same generation! Unbelievable! Anyway, the Defs were great, the dancers were a distraction, and the camera men were on crack based on the weird angles they used to shoot the the band! There…I’ve said it and I won’t take it back!!!

I agree. They were all grreat, as usual, even if it was a lip-sync set. Hey, like I’ve said before…even a lip-sync Leppard set is better than no Leppard set at all. Saw the guys on their tour opener in Greensboro, NC 3/27/08 (just 6 months after seeing them in Raleigh, NC 8/27/08). WOW….twice within 6 months!!!! And may I say the 2nd time was even better than the first, especially since we were seated in a strategic location…..we could see each time Joe went backstage to change shirts….BONUS!!!! This man is just tooooo hotttt!!! I don’t care if he is soon to be 49. Just look at Phil, he’s already 50 and still blows me away with those abs…him and Vivian both. (My 23 year old niece went to both concerts with me. She is now a Leppard fan and just thinks Phil is the hottest thing walking!!)

Yes, they are all HOT and your neice has excellent taste! But in Joe Elliot’s defense (from what I’ve read) he had an upper respiratory infection at the time of this taping and was unable to sing live. D.L. had to reschedule part of their US tour because of his illness. One of the shows rescheduled was in Hidalgo, TX last night and I am very sad I wasn’t able to go! Maybe next tour…
I saw an add in a magazine for designer luggage the other day and Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones was in the picture. The leather used to make the suitcases was of MUCH better quality that the leather that comprised whats left of Keith’s face! LOL!!! Def Leppard as a whole looks better in their 50’s than The Stones ever did!
BUT~ I am only comparing the overall sex appeal between the two bands, not talent, longevity, or money making power! (but personally I still choose The Def’s over The Stones on all counts, any time, any day!!!) Meeeoooow!!!!
