Snoop Dogg offers Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson baby advice
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.16, 2008, under articles

Snoop Dogg is doling out parenting tips to people again! First, he gave the advice to start a family to Beyonce and Jay-Z, and now he’s offering tips to Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson.
Snoop advised Wentz to put his new baby’s crip in the garage because, “You don’t want the baby next to you crying because you’re going to want to knock the boots with Ashlee once she’s had the baby.”
He also told Wentz to ignore early-learning videos for his child and to stick to rap and hip-hop promos instead.
Of course he was kidding, it was a skit. Ya gotta love Snoop.
Kanye West ticks off fans with a late show

Kanye West took the stage for his Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival amid boos from tired fans early on Saturday, after leaving them waiting for him to make his appearance for almost two hours.
He switched his 8:15pm start time to 2:45am on Sunday, becoming the first major act to start a mainstream festival show so late.
The fans had been waiting through a midnight torrential downpourto get to Kanye’s early morning set.
A fan said, “He had to work really hard to win everyone over.”
I bet! He had them waiting forever and they had to sit through heavy rains like that. I’d have left. Screw that nonsense.

Trent Reznor was talking about the retail version of N.I.N.’s album, Ghosts, and said that he found the first video for “God Given”.
He says, “Also, I was rummaging through the archives and found the first part of the “God Given†video we never finished. Enjoy!”
Gotta love it.

Marky Mark says he’s too old to rap
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.12, 2008, under articles

Mark Wahlberg says that he’s too old to rap and has rejected the chance to reunite with the lesser known members of the Funky Bunch.
The group is going to get together and tour, but this time, without their frontman Marky. I guess he’s too caught up in acting.
He says, “I wish them well, but rap is a young man’s game.”
Tell that to Dr. Dre.
Gene Simmons thinks all bands should blow crap up
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.12, 2008, under articles

Gene Simmons says that all band should put on spectacular shows for their fans. I’m totally down with that. He’s even hit out at bands like Radiohead for putting on boring concerts.
He’s on the concert-goers side here. He says that fans pay a lot of their hard earned cash for concert tickets and bands should go that extra mile to give people their money’s worth.
So, if you’re not blowing stuff up, then you suck.

Britney Spears was cut from the Pussycat Dolls’ new video
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.12, 2008, under articles

Britney Spears’ segment in the new Pussycat Dolls video for When I Grow Up, has been 86′ed from the final edit.
A source says, “They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic – that is it. Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde. “It is a very short sequence, but (Spears) had a lot of fun with it. Britney really likes the Dolls’ music and when she saw them on the MTV (Movie Awards), she was totally down to do the video.”
We have yet to hear why it was axed.

A worthwhile cause
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.11, 2008, under Uncategorized

I just got an email from our friends at Indie-Music.com and they’ve experienced a terrible situation:
Indie-Music.com’s regularly scheduled newsletter will delayed for an indefinite period of time, as will updates on the website. We apologize for the inconvenience.
On Saturday, June 8th, Indie-Music’s offices and the home of founders Suzanne Glass and Paul Bultman in Indiana were destroyed by flood waters.
We are currently without anywhere to live or work until matters can be resolved. Thankfully, everyone is safe. But operations at Indie-Music.com are suspended until the immediate emergency situation has passed.
We greatly appreciate donations already sent by friends and family. If anyone else wishes to contribute, you may send to our Paypal account at billingATindie-musicDOTcom.
If you can help out, I’m sure that they’d greatly appreciate it.
Coolio got clipped by the cops
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.10, 2008, under articles

Coolio was busted by the cops last night at around 1am, driving a ’96 Hummer, for a warrant that was put out for his arrest, for driving with a suspended license.
Doh!
Let’s hope that Mr. Gangsta’s Paradise has the $10,000 needed to get his butt outta the clink.
Apparently, the arrest stems from when he was popped in 2001 for a suspended license charge.

People paid good money to hear Amy Winehouse sing like crap!
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.08, 2008, under articles
Since this is the first time that I’ve been actually able to hear this trainwreck of a performance, I can tell you that she sounds so strung out at the Rock in Rio in Lisboa event……and ya gotta love her heart with Blakey’s name on it, in her hair….right?
I can’t believe that people would pay good money to hear this garbage. Insane!

John Mayer doesn’t like Guitar Hero
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.05, 2008, under articles

Sorry for another John Mayer post, but he’s putting down my favorite game….and that’s just not cool.
Apparently, John thinks that the Guitar Hero games are letting untalented people enjoy playing the guitar.
I can play both and let me tell you, the game is not the real thing, not even close. Where are my guitar playing readers? Come on out of the woodwork here and help me out. GH3 aint nothing but a fake plastic guitar game with some colorful buttons….but it’s fun.
Are we really enjoying the instrument?
He better not ever wonder why there isn’t a Guitar Hero: John Mayer edition.
John Mayer was pulled over by the cops

Jennifer Aniston’s man candy John Mayer was pulled over by the cops in L.A. Tuesday for missing a rear license plate.
He apologized for the offense saying, “We’ll take care of this… It’s an unfortunate situation… We’ll make amends.”
Translation to English: I’m rich and a celebrity, I know people, you’ll be fired.
