The Sun is offering to pony up the cash for James Blunt to stop singing!

The singer has promised to give up singing for the right price.

He said to Uncut magazine in a recent interview, “Listen, I’m a reasonable human being. If people pay me enough, I’ll stop playing my music.”

So The Sun has a blank check for James to fill in with the amount he would take to stop putting out those crappy love songs.

Scott Weiland is gearing up for the release of his solo album, Happy, and is releasing a track called Paralysis. You can check out the track for yourself, here.

It reminds me a lot of a watered down David Bowie. You think that was the sound he was going for? I’d much rather listen to his Velvet Revolver stuff.

Amy Winehouse is facing arrest over allegedly punching a woman dancer in the face. The dancer, Sherene Flash, said that Amy punched her in the eye after she asked to take Amy’s picture.

Amy was seen running off, yelling, “Life can’t go on. I can’t do this any more.”

Authorities were called to the scene where they took a statement from Sherene. Amy will probably be questioned in the incident soon.

A friend said, “Sherene asked Amy if she could take a photo. Amy was okay at first, but when Sherene asked if a friend could get in the shot, Amy lashed out.”

Amy is officially crazy! Like Britney crazy only her British accent is real. Where’s the Save Amy t-shirts?

Sebastian Bach has won the CMT show Gone Country. Yech. I’m feeling the need to vomit right about now. Can you believe this nonsense?

I don’t know if Sebastian felt that he couldn’t make it as a rock singer, or whatever, but he has apparently turned his sights to the realm of country music. Run!

Here’s a clip of the song that Bas sang for the show, called One More Battle With A Bottle. Cringe.

Watch out Jessica Simpson, you’re not the only one out there with a beer to pawn!

Kid Rock is entering the beer race with the help of Drinks Americas Holdings and is launching his premium domestic beer, next year.

Drinks Americas CEO says, “Kid Rock is a reflection of great American rock and roll music and the American spirit, and we think we can create a beer in that same image. There is no question in our mind that people will try a beer that Kid Rock will stand by and when they like it, a great and incredibly valuable trademark will be created.”

AC/DC boycotts iTunes

by roberta on Sep.26, 2008, under articles

Angus Young

AC/DC are refusing to sell their music through iTunes, because they fear that their fans will only buy “a few tracks”. The band wants us all to buy the entire album as a package because they say the songs “belong together”.

Angus Young says, “We don’t make singles, we make albums. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album. We don’t think that represents us musically.”

I love AC/DC, but if I can’t buy only the songs that I want, then they can keep their album. I hate to be one of those people that would buy the album just to find that it sucks except for a few good tracks.

Lyrics to Womanizer by Britney Spears

Superstar
Where you from, how’s it going?
I know you
Gotta clue, what you’re doing?
You can play brand new to all the other chicks out here
But I know what you are, what you are, baby

Look at you
Gettin’ more than just re-up
Baby, you
Got all the puppets with their strings up
Fakin’ like a good one, but I call ‘em like I see ‘em
I know what you are, what you are, baby

Womanizer

Boy, don’t try to front
I know just what you are

Womanizer

Daddy-O
You got the swagger of champions
Too bad for you
Just can’t find the right companion
I guess when you have one too many, makes it hard
It could be easy, but that’s who you are, baby

Lollipop
Must mistake me as a sucker
To think that I
Would be a victim not another
Say it, play it how you wanna
But no way I’m ever gonna fall for you, never you, baby

Maybe if we both lived in a different world
It would be all good, and maybe I could be ya girl
But I can’t ’cause we don’t

What do you think of the lyrics?

Everything Amy Winehouse touches turns to crap

by roberta on Sep.25, 2008, under articles

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was sent a bill for $46,250 after she was said to have vomited all over a dress that was sent to her on loan by a designer. According to reports, she has been blacklisted by fashion publicists, who regularly send free clothes to celebrities.

A source says, “Harvey Nichols loaned Amy $25,000 worth of silk and satin dresses. Unfortunately, while wearing one of the frocks, she went on an all night bender. She ended up in the loos, where she was violently sick. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. She eventually couriered them back on Monday, but didn’t wrap them separately. So sick had gone on all the clothes.”

Amy, note to self: If you’re going to drink until you’re stupid, at least have some common sense the next day.

Busta Rhymes has been allowed back into the U.K., after he spent hours detained at the airport earlier today. They detained him over “unresolved convictions” here in the U.S. Officials at the airport tried to re-route the rapper to Amsterdam, until Busta’s lawyer secured an injunction preventing that.

U.K. authorities have now granted him permission to enter the country, where he’s due to perform a charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow.

The detention was said to have been related to previous convictions for drunk driving and assault.

Don’t impersonate Steven Tyler or he’ll sue you

Steven Tyler

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler does not like to be impersonated on blogs. Who does?

In a lawsuit filed today in L.A., Steven claims that impersonators have posted pictures and intimate details of his private life with his girlfriend, his children, and his mother.

Steven’s mother recently passed away, so I can see how he’d be mad about that. Apparently those sites were removed by Google in December of last year, but have since resurfaced.
