MTV’s TRL cancelled!

After ten years, MTV is closing the door on the chapter that is TRL. Crazy!
I can’t say that I really watched TRL, matter of fact, I haven’t watched MTV in a longggggggg longgg time. I know that once they used to actually play music videos. Remember when Adam Curry was a VJ? I don’t think I’ve watched since he went off the air.
MTV head honcho Dave Sirulnick, says, “This feels like the right time and let’s celebrate it and let’s reward it. Let’s let it have a little bit of a rest for a minute. Been working hard for 10 years!”
The show will wrap in a two hour special on a Saturday in November.

Yes!!!!!! i used to watch it faithfully…but though i don’t really watch it regurlarly, it would be weird for it to be off air. I was so shocked when i first read about this.

I haven’t really watched it. It’s a shame, though, they had such a following.
