Kanye West is the voice of our generation?

Kanye West has gotten so full of himself lately, that I think he’s trying to eclipse Diddy in arrogance. Who will win? It might be a tie. Just as I would’ve sworn that Kanye was trying to endear himself to the public by looking for a wife and revealing that he’s lonely, he comes out with this crap.
He’s basically saying that his music will give him his place in history as the voice of this generation. All hail Kanye West, the official spokesperson for our generation. Uh huh.
He says, “I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice. It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan.
Then he takes the opportunity to take a nice little jab at Justin Timberlake. He added, “There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums.”
This is just too much. I’m going to say it now, Kanye, shut your pie hole. Just because you’re the one talking the loudest in our generation, doesn’t mean that you are the voice of it. Your place in history fills that slot for arrogant rapper. Diddy will just have to settle for arrogant do-nothing.
Kanye West is looking for a wife

Kanye West is looking to start a family and settle down and wants to find the right woman. After losing his mother and splitting with his fiancee in the span of 12 months, Kanye is feeling the pangs of loneliness.
He says, “I want to have kids. But I want to have the right girl too, someone who really cares about me. It’s lonely at the top. Losing my mom, having no woman in my life to support me – I feel like I’m on my own and can only express it through my music.”
How’s he going to find a woman who’s sincere and doesn’t want just his money?
He adds, “When I’m in a club, girls are super-calculating, planning every step.”
Body of Paula Abdul stalker found outside of her home

Stop the press, Paula Abdul still has had a fan!
Apparently, the Paula Abdul obsessed fan committed suicide outside of Paula’s home in Sherman Oaks, California. The woman’s parents reported her as missing, but told cops that she could probably be found around Paula’s home because she’s a “big fan”.
Paula was recording an episode of American Idol when the incident went down. The name of the fan has not yet been released. And I’m not going to make any “Forever Your Girl” jokes, either. It’s too soon for that, I’ll wait until tomorrow.
Sean Combs throws a fit at his decorator for his birthday party

Sean Combs is a diva. Big surprise there. His birthday party at Mansion turned out to be a disaster for the decorator, who was given a budget of $7,000 and 12 hours to make the place up to Diddy’s standards. He wanted an all-white decor complete with 1,000 white roses, blow-ups of Diddy and Barack Obama, and $2,000 worth of white fabric.
A source on the scene said, “Diddy declared it dreadful and went into a major hissy fit, screaming, ‘Show me the receipts!’ and ‘Get the money back!’ to his assistant. Then he began ripping the fabric off the walls saying he hated it. He berated the poor young decorator to the point that the guy gave back $2,000 of the money he had spent.”
Wow, and this is a grown man! He has a ton of money and needs his butt kissed regularly. Think he was celebrating his birthday along with the one vote that decided the Presidential race?
Britney Spears’ new song, Kill The Lights
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.09, 2008, under articles
Here’s the latest leak from Britney’s next album, Circus. This song is called Kill The Lights. When Womanizer first came out, I said that it sucked, but it kind of grew on me. I’m not feeling this song after a few listens, though.
What do you think? My nine-year-old son, Justin, listened to the song with me again. He said this: “To be honest, it’s not her best song.” I couldn’t agree more.
Beyonce is ready to help out Barack Obama

Beyonce is proud that we have our first ever African American President. So much, that she says that she’s ready to help out Barack Obama in any way for his inauguration.
She says, “I’m there. I can’t wait. I feel like all of us, we’re ready to whatever we have to do. Whatever they want – if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I’m there, and I’m ready.”
I think it would be a waste of her talents to have her there and not perform.
Britney Spears joins Madonna on stage to sing Human Nature, last night
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.07, 2008, under articles
Britney Spears came on stage to sing Human Nature with Madonna last night at her concert at Dodger Stadium. There were rumors floating around of a Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake reunion on stage, but that never came to fruition. Justin did show up, but he performed after Britney had already left the stage.
Think Madonna is bringing in the younger whippersnappers to boost ticket sales? There was also a rumor circulating that Barack Obama was set to make an appearance at her show. But, that never happened, either.
Miley Cyrus’ first job was cleaning toilets

Miley Cyrus wasn’t always the little Hannah Montana Disney darling that she is today. And to prove it, she admits that her first job was cleaning toilets.
She says, “I had one normal job and I actually liked it. I worked at this place called Sparkles Cleaning Service and I cleaned houses, I was like 11. I can clean toilet bowls.”
Seriously, someone should report those fools for having someone underage working for them like that. But all along, I knew Miley Cyrus was good for something. Let me get that kid some toilet bowl cleaner.
Diddy makes election day all about himself

Are we surprised by this? I know I’m not. Sean “Diddy” Combs says that he was so overwhelmed by casting his vote for Barack Obama that he felt like it was his vote that put the President-Elect in the White House.
Good grief. Will this guy ever get over himself? On the one day that celebrities are just like us and have to wait in those long lines, Diddy took the opportunity to let us know that it was all up to him.
He says, “I felt like my vote was the vote that put him into office. It was down to one vote, and that was going to be my vote. And that may not be true, but that’s how much power it felt like I had.”
Congratulations to Barack Obama for becoming our nation’s first African American president. Congratulations to Diddy for publicly making an idiot out of himself.
Jennifer Hudson mourns the loss of her family

Jennifer Hudson has said goodbye to her mother, brother, and nephew at their funeral service in Chicago yesterday.
It was such a sad tragedy, her mother and brother were shot on October 24th and the body of her nephew, Julian King, was found three days later in an abandoned SUV.
Friends and family of the singer’s family showed up, holding their tickets for admittance at the invitation only service held at the Apostolic Church of God yesterday. Fans of Jennifer’s showed up to also pay their respects.
Fantasia Barrino was also a guest and she sang the gospel song, Your Grace and Mercy.
May they rest in peace. Our condolences to the family in this very hard time. I can’t imagine what Jennifer is going through right now.
Lil’ Wayne is not dead!

After rumors circulated around the net that Lil’ Wayne’s daughter Reginae was killed in a car accident, comes this new hoax. Don’t believe the hype! Lil’ Wayne isn’t dead either!
It was said that Lil’ Wayne was shot dead by a rival gang and passed away on Saturday, following a New Orleans gig. He was reportedly involved in a gang fight between the Bloods and the Crips. It was said that the rapper was shot six times with a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun.
Folks, just because it’s on the internet, doesn’t mean it’s true.
Bon Jovi is being sued again

Bon Jovi is being sued again. This time, it’s by a British woman who says that she was seriously injured when a member of the rocker’s entourage ran her over during a gig in the U.K. in 2006.
The band played in southeast England where Sally Allen, a security supervisor at the venue, claims that the incident took place.
In legal papers, she claims she suffered a fractured knee, ligament damage, and severe internal injuries when she was “deliberately” run over by entourage member Kevin McDonnell in a golf cart.
According to the lawsuit, McDonnell told Allen, “I don’t care about your emergency situation. Get out of my way, you f***ing whore. Do you know who I am? You can’t f***ing stop me.” After yelling at her, she claims her ran over her right leg. She is suing for $405,000 in damages.
My question is, if she suffered such extensive damages, then why did she wait so long to sue? I know that she first filed a claim in the U.S. that was rejected, but two years later??!? It just seems like such a long time.
