Former drummer for Guns N’ Roses, Steven Adler is being forced to undergo more rehab to keep himself out of prison.

Steven graduated from “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”, but now he has to complete a state rehab program to remain a free man.

He’s lucky to be able to stay out of prison, so let’s hope that he can do it.

All of these troubles stem from an arrest from July. He was arrested and charged with felony drug possession and a misdemeanor count of being under the influence of drugs.

I remember watching him for a minute on “Celebrity Rehab”, he wanted to quit early in an attempt to rejoin Guns N’ Roses. Thankfully they were able to talk him out of it. And off the subject, but doesn’t this poor guy look like he’s gotten beat down with the ugly stick?!?

Yes, I am officially getting old. Sorry for the lack of posts today. I’ve been tossing back some Margeritas and getting ready to go out for some drinks.

This had to be the best birthday present ever. A special thank you to all of the Miley Cyrus nutjobs for giving me something to laugh at today.

Okay, I’m no real fan of Miley Cyrus or that crappy stuff that she calls music, but this is just not right. According to sources, her model boyfriend, Justin Gaston is using her for her fame.

The two met earlier this year on that crappy country music talent show, which he didn’t have enough talent to win.

They’ve been hanging out and doing stuff together ever since. This guy’s not stupid. He’s using her fame to get better and higher paying jobs. What a twit.

A source close to Justin says, “He’s got more modeling jobs since he’s been with Miley and is telling people they’re writing songs together so her fans will get interested in his music. You start to think he’s in this for fame.” Putz.

Everybody and their uncle is jumping on the Womanizer bandwagon. First, Lily Allen covered it, and now The All American Rejects want a piece of the pie.

They covered the song nice and slow, much to the joy of the crowd. In the middle of singing, they threw in some of the Turtles song, So Happy Together. What a funky version of the song.

Thanks to Pete Wentz for sharing too much info about his wife, Ashlee Simpson, now we can sleep. Dummy. If I were her, I’d be smacking him upside his head for dishing too many details about private matters.

Earlier Tuesday, the Fall Out Boy bassist talked to Howard Stern, in which he shared too much. But apparently he didn’t think so. He said of him and his wife, “We have an amazing sex life. We have such sexual chemistry. If we had been on this show last year, we’d probably doing it in the green room right now. Hopefully the kid doesn’t change it.”

He said that Ashlee’s not ready to go all the way yet, but that they “do other fun stuff.” Thanks to Pete, that nasty thought will stay in my head for ages to come.

He went on to say that they did it at the Soho Grand Hotel and he had mirrors in the room so he could watch himself. How romantic.

Scarlett Johansson is intent on killing our ears again with more of her nonsense. Apparently, ScarJo has plans for a followup album to her first masterpiece, Anywhere I Lay My Head. Oh yay, I can’t hardly wait.

She said that this time around, instead of doing covers, she’d like to do all original material. She added that maybe married life would be the subject of her next album.

My ears are ready for this nonsense, bring it Scarlett, I need someone to rag on.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have released their version of All I Want For Christmas on their Myspace page. I like this version of the song, as opposed to others that are more popular.

The band is streaming the song for free, so go have a listen. Also, in other Yeah Yeah Yeahs news, the group is gearing up for another album in 2009. Can’t wait.

Snoop Dogg is getting rid of his old shed on eBay. The shed was featured on his reality show, FatherHood and is autographed twice by the rapper.

He’s already had the shed replaced as a place to hang out with friends and do “whatever”. The auction is only at $1,000 and currently has no bidders. While it would seem like a nifty idea to own his old shed for such a small amount, the catch is that it has to be transported by an already chosen company at your expense.

HeyHeyHey! is a show I’ve never heard of, but Britney Spears is looking more and more relaxed as she goes on. She looks more confident than her first couple of performances of the song. As time goes on, she’ll be right back to where she used to be.

Kanye West can’t really sing without his vocoder, can he? He butchered his new song on Saturday Night Live, last night. What do you think of his singing? Am I being too harsh or is he just that sucky?

Prosecutors involved in the Hudson/Donerson murders are saying that William Balfour’s wife (at the time) Julia Hudson was celebrating turning 31-years-old on October 23rd. The next morning, William showed up at the home shared by Julia, her mother Darnell, brother Jason, and nephew Julian. He apparently spotted a gift that he believed to have come from another man. Prosecutors believe that the jealousy in itself caused him to come back later on that day and murder Julia’s mother, brother, and son.

The physical evidence in the case resides with gun residue found in Balfour’s car, meaning that he fired a weapon. Earlier in October, it was said that Julia was rumored to have been dating another man and threatened her family. She didn’t believe his threats because he previously threatened her family and nothing came from it.

Julia is still in grieving mode and has canceled a previously scheduled video shoot for It Isn’t Love. This would’ve been the first work-related thing she’s done since the deaths of her family.

We’ll wait for you to be ready, Jennifer. Just take your time and make sure you can handle everything okay. We’re pulling for ya.

The Mirror would like us all to believe that Kanye West is dropping ship just to move to London and rap “at the weekends”. How much of that would you believe? Sure Kanye is into fashion and all that jazz, but do you think he’s actually going to work for Louis Vuitton throughout the week and rap on the weekends?

Oh, you’re not buying that crap either? Didn’t think so.

According to the article, here’s what Kanye said about the whole thing, “I’m going to go and take an internship and just do something that’s like completely normal, and just rap at the weekends or something.”

Believe it? Or not?

Lily Allen covered Britney Spears’ song Womanizer in a new twist. She did it up slower and more British sounding.

There are seven auctions on eBay now for you and/or a guest to have a nice dinner with Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell. There are ten slots available for the dinner, which will take place at a restaurant in Los Angeles on March 7, 2009.

The higher the bid, the closer the seat to Vivian. So bid high, the auction goes to benefit CreateNow!, which is a mentoring through music program for abused and neglected children in California.

Trent Reznor says that the current tour that Nine Inch Nails is on will be the last set of live performances for the band for the near future. When the tour is over, Trent says that he basically doesn’t know when they’ll get back on the road. So basically, suck it up while you can.

He said on NIN’s official site, “This was an amazing tour and production – certainly the best thing I’ve ever been involved with and likely the final tour for Nine Inch Nails on this scale. The shows we have announced in 2009, and any more that may be announced, will be a completely different approach with some different personnel, and will likely be the last for the foreseeable future.”

Well doesn’t that just suck? I never got to see them live, though, but I wouldn’t mind doing so. Has anyone listened to The Slip yet? If so, what did you think of it?

Britney Spears was on Ellen DeGeneres’ show, carolling with her in front of some random person’s fireplace. They first attempted to sing Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, but ended up doing Silent Night.

After the clip of them singing, it’s cut to Ellen who jokes that she had to “keep teaching her about harmony.” Too funny. See the entire show on Tuesday.

Usher Raymond has just had his second child with wife, Tameka Foster. The name of their new addition has not yet been released.

Previously not releasing any real information, he said, “We’re actually expecting, if you didn’t hear, in December. One of the best Christmas gifts there is to have!”

Well his Christmas bundle of joy has arrived.

Update: I’ve just learned that their son’s name is Naviyd Ely Raymond and he was born at 2:33 a.m. Wednesday and weighed 5 lbs, 13 oz.

Britney Spears took the time out to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and to thank all of her fans for making her new album number one.

John Mayer is auctioning off a week with him on his ship, the Mayercraft Carrier 2. The auction is on eBay and the bidding is at $25,000 with six hours left. You get to hang out with John and hopefully he’ll sing for you, too.

The auction includes roundtrip airfare for four to L.A. where you’ll be staying at the Casa del Mar, on the eve of the cruise and the night of your return. The trip is set for March 27th and it will be a four-day voyage where John will sign a guitar for you to have.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Musicians On Call, which brings the healing powers of music to hospital patients. How cool is that?

Katy Perry is apologizing to Lily Allen after saying that she is a skinnier version of her. I figured this was coming, since Lily is the bigger artist.

Katy says, “Yeah, I made a joke about that earlier this year. I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny. I didn’t mean anything by it. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously.”

So by her own admission, she’s a comedian now? I was not aware of that. She sounded like a one hit wonder to me, so far. Whereas, Lily has actually had a couple of songs that I actually liked.

I have to ask again, where’s the apology to Amy Winehouse? She doesn’t even compare in regard to vocal talent. Have you heard Katy Perry sing live yet? It’s horrendous and it makes her recorded music sound like all she uses is a vocoder.

After DMX had an arrest warrant issued for him, he has been nabbed AGAIN!

The rapper was arrested earlier today in Florida after he failed to appear in court last Friday. His mouthpiece says that he’s been in and out of rehab in Florida for a couple of weeks, “but realized he couldn’t stay if he was wanted by police.”

This isn’t the first time he got himself arrested over not showing up for a court date. I said it before, he must really like jail. He’s currently facing drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty charges. His bond is set at $120,000. He’s likely to have to sit in jail for an extended amount of time, this time around.
