Jewel’s career must be going south, or she just plain sucks

Jewel

Apparently, Jewel’s career has taken a serious downturn. Or, nothing spells success like hosting a chili cook-off!

Anyways, I’ve only known a couple of her songs anyways, it’s not like she’s Britney Spears or anything. Okay, maybe that was a bad example, but Jewel’s music doesn’t really stick in your head like those of the major musical players….right? And right now I’m sure that she’s happy that she’s not Britney Spears cuz she’d be locked up tight at a hospital.

She is famous for “You were meant for me” and “Intuition”, and that’s it basically. Maybe she can work her way back up to doing fairs or something?

I could not disagree more. She is one of the few female artists I have a deep respect for. Perhaps you are forgetting “Foolish Games” and maybe you’ve never heard her cover of “Wild Horses” and so what if I’m a little in love with her (MARRY ME JEWEL) and yes I have erased “Intuition” from my memory, she is a real, genuine, talented singer songwriter who does not deserve a comparison to BS (how dare you compare her to Britney Spears!!!). Perhaps if you had ever listened to one of her albums (again, erased “Intuition” from memory) you would know that.

Pfft who cares whether her careers going east, south or wherever, Jewel’s a good person who has earnt herself plenty of respect unlike other Hollwood stars. What does it matter if her songs don’t hit the charts?

I think it depends on how you judge someone’s career. She is still in demand, she tours, she writes, and she does it with a positive attitude. Just because she doesn’t have a sex tape or her own clothing line… :)

Jewel is nothing less than inspirational. Her music is poetic and beautiful. The song “I’m Sensitive” and “Daddy” and oh I don’t know, every other song before intuition is beautiful. Her songs move me to tears because she is a poet. “Who will Save our souls” she wrote when she was somthing like 18 years old and it is one of her first hits. Do your research, don’t look like a tool.

I’d fuck her but she sucks….hopefully!

I’ve never really like Jewel so her career (or lack thereof) mean little to me. I don’t understand why some people are getting so uptight about your personal opinion though.

No offense but whoever wrote this is a jackass, since when do record sales measure how much of a talented successful musician you are? Didnt like Backstreet Boys and Nsync break most of those most selling cd records? Does that make them good? In youre opinion probably cause you know Nothing about music, nothing. Next time dont talk about something you have no clue about Roberta, go listen to your jonas brothers cd. And for the record no Im not a huge jewel fan, but she is incredibly talented just being able to sing and play guitar alone is a talent most people dont have. She makes music from the soul, and I along with others enjoy hearing it. Maybe her “Career” isnt skyrocketing because so many people in the US dont know what music is, and buy SHIT music like britney spears and jonas brothers and crap rap.

Moving right along. Nothing to see here. No one here listens to the Jonas Brothers, either. Doh, I’m not twelve, dummy.
