The club, Station, where the Great White concert in 2003 ended in tragedy, has reached a settlement with all of the families of the victims. The blaze left 100 fans dead on February 20, 2003, some escaped, others weren’t so lucky.
The settlement that was reached is for over $2 million dollars and the promise to donate the land for use as a memorial to the victims of the pyrotechnics mishap.
In addition to the club owner, Ray Villanova’s settlement, defendants have reached a settlement totalling over $19 million with five of the other defendants named in the case, including LunaTech, the manufacturer of the fireworks that sparked the blaze.
