Steven Tyler was in rehab for his addiction to painkillers

Steven Tyler lied to us! But we’re going to take it easy on him because he’s still a cool dude. And besides that, we’re going to be able to buy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith soon…..woot!

Steven said that he checked into rehab in search of a safe environment to recovery from foot surgery. He’s now saying that it was due to his painkiller addiction that he suffered from while he was recovering from said foot surgery.

At least he’s back to where he needs to be…that’s all that matters. It’s not like he’s Amy Winehouse or anything, right?

    PaiOk, ths story I heard was that his doctor wanted him to check in to rehab because of foot surgery, but they never actually said why. Now I don’t think he lied, he just didn’t give the full story. I think the doctor wanted him to go to rehab so that an addiction to painkillers, which he was probably perscribed after the surgery, did not become a problem. Painkiller are easily addictive, fun…but addictive.
