50 Cent Says He’s The Reason Eminem Got Fat

by on Feb.27, 2009, under articles

In this new video that 50 Cent has posted on his site, he says that he’s the reason why Eminem got fat. But he does go in to detail as to what happened to Shady that caused him to put on a few extra pounds.

Think he’s just trying to drum up publicity for their new album? I wish they’d just drop it already, respectively. Yes, Dr. Dre, I’m talking to you, too.

Rihanna Was Pregnant When Chris Brown Beat Her?

by on Feb.26, 2009, under articles

According to Star magazine, Rihanna was hiding a possible pregnancy from her boyfriend Chris Brown. Right before he beat her to a pulp, she visited an OB/GYN at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because she thought she was pregnant by that SOB.

She had already confided in some friends that she suspected she was pregnant by Chris.

A source at the doctor’s office said, “She was extremely fidgety. She seemed totally uncomfortable.” It’s being said that she feared that he would dump her if he found out the news.

What a jerk.

I like this song, it grew on me. What do you think?

Natalie Portman Raps!

by on Feb.25, 2009, under articles

Natalie Portman comes off as this sweet, girl next door type, but she says, “I never said I was a role model” in this hilarious video. She drops F-bombs like they’re nothing, check it out.

I couldn’t grab the actual video to embed it here, due to the embedding being disabled, but I got the song so that you can hear it.

You’ve gotta see it, though, Natalie is freaking hilarious.

Beyonce Launches Dance Contest

by on Feb.24, 2009, under articles

First of all, I have to comment how much I detest that fugly dress Beyonce wore to the Oscars on Sunday. Ugh.

Okay, now that that’s out of my system, I’ve just heard that Beyonce has launched a dance contest online with the top prize being $250,000.

She has invited fans to submit videos of themselves dancing to her song, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.

The winner will also be featured at her concert with their video being shown while she tours.

The deadline for entries is March 6th.

Faith No More Are Reuniting!

by on Feb.24, 2009, under articles

Faith No More are rocking right out of the nineties and into the new millenium. Sweet!

Mike Patton and Co. made their mark on the world of 90′s music with “The Real Thing”. They were most known for their song “Epic”, mostly because of how it combined a little bit of rapping with guitars. They were pioneering the crossover, back in the day.

Check out “Epic”:

The group are reforming for a European tour later on this year, according to sources. Their publicist says that the band will play summer festival dates this year.

The reunion is not going to include guitarist Jim Martin, who reportedly left FNM back in ’93. I’m surprised that I still know all of the words to every song on “The Real Thing”. Love that album.

The Pet Shop Boys, Lady Gaga, & Brandon Flowers – Video

by on Feb.23, 2009, under articles

The Pet Shop Boys got together with Lady Gaga and Brandon Flowers and performed a lot of their hits at the 2009 Brit Awards.

Loved this ten-minute collaboration of some of their best songs. “West End Girls” was at the very tail end of the performance, and that is my favorite song by them.

What a performance! Kudos to them, I loved it. What a nice techno mix of their best stuff.

New Music: Jennifer Lopez – ‘Hooked On You’

by on Feb.22, 2009, under articles

Jennifer Lopez has a new song out called “Hooked On You”. Have a listen and let me know what you think?

I’m not really feeling this song. It’s definitely not one of her better songs. But it’s good to hear something new from J-Lo. I thought she had her head into being just a mother to her kids and walked away from music for a while.

Your thoughts?

Kelly Osbourne Leaves Rehab

by on Feb.20, 2009, under articles

Kelly Osbourne has left the rehab facility where she was being treated for whatever unknown addiction that she was suffering from.

She was recently spotted shopping with her mother in California. She was said to have completed the rehab center’s 30-day program.

This marks the third time that Kelly’s been to rehab. Let’s hope it’s her last. But we’re still left with questions as to why she entered this time. When she went in, her mother, Sharon, said that we’d have to wait for an explanation as to why she went in. She’s still mum on it, though.

We’re waiting.

Glenn Danzig To Be On The Next ‘Rock Of Love’

by on Feb.19, 2009, under articles

Say what???

Yes, you read that correctly. Glenn Danzig will be walking tall in the glam boots of Bret Michaels for a new Rock Of Love show aimed at finding him someone to bring home to “Mother”.

The show will be called “Rock of Love: Bride of Satan with Glenn Danzig” and will make it’s premiere on VH1 in July.

At least they’re getting a metal god to do the show now. I just have to wonder what he’s going to put those girls through, to win his affections.

Vh1 details some of the challenges, which include: “goat entrail soup and chili cook-off blindfolded nun deflowering contest sexy seance strip-a-thon virgin or family member: the sacrifice challenge name that heretic.”

Okay, you know I’ll be tuning in when this one gets good. Finally someone in rock/metal besides Bret gets a show!

And purely for nostalgic purposes, I give you “Mother”:

Katy Perry Was Sick At The Brit Awards

by on Feb.19, 2009, under articles

After disgracing the crap out of a Hello Kitty outfit, Katy Perry won an award at the Brit Awards for Best International Female Solo Artist.

The night didn’t end too well for the “Hot N Cold” singer. She ended up getting sick and vomiting backstage after she accepted her award from Lionel Richie.

She said, “I’m so sick right now, but they said I should show up because something special might happen. Thank you to everyone at my record label. I proved I work pretty hard because I want to die right now.”

We’re wishing for the same fate hoping she feels better soon!

Now with some Hello Kitty:

Worst Video Ever: Paris Hilton Raps With Snoop Dogg

by on Feb.17, 2009, under articles

This has to be the most annoying video that has ever been made. Paris Hilton was in a club with Snoop Dogg and she was rapping.

I was hoping that he would take the 50 Cent route and make her cry, but Snoop’s too much of a gentleman for that. Bummer, too, because that would’ve been funny.

Nikki Sixx Has Got a Potty Mouth

by on Feb.17, 2009, under articles

Nikki Sixx has got such a potty mouth. Him and the Crue boys were performing at a concert in San Diego, when Nikki tossed a bottle of water into the crowd. When some chick whizzed the bottle by his head, he was none too thrilled and started cussing her out.

Check it out:

He needs his mouth washed out with soap. I imagine that he’s still happy that him and Motley Crue are still relevant.

New Music: Taylor Hicks – “What’s Right Is Right”

by on Feb.17, 2009, under articles

Here’s Taylor Hicks’ new video for his new single, “What’s Right Is Right”. This song is off of his upcoming album, “The Distance”, which is due out on March 10th.

I like this song, it reminds me a lot of Michael Bolton in it’s slowness, but it’s got a good vibe.

What do you think? Even though I wasn’t a card carrying member of the Soul Patrol, I still like Taylor’s voice when he sings certain songs. “Give Me Tonight” is my favorite by him, but I like my music with a lot more pulse to it.

The Jonas Brothers were on Ellen DeGeneres’ show when she blindfolded them and had them play musical chairs with a fan from the audience.

This is a really cute video and that girl was so excited to have met the guys.

Too funny. Gotta love Ellen, she’s a crack up.

New Lady Gaga Leaked Song – “Let Love Down”

by on Feb.16, 2009, under articles

Here’s a new leaked song by Lady Gaga, called “Let Love Down”. This song is a lot slower than the dance music that we’re used to from Gaga.

I like the song, she reminds me of someone singing this, I just can’t put my finger on it.

Check it out:

What do you think of the song? I like it bunches, all of her songs are earworms if you ask me.

David Cook Slips On Stage Singing ‘Hot For Teacher’

by on Feb.16, 2009, under Uncategorized

David Cook was in Biloxi, Mississippi performing “Hot For Teacher” when he had a little bit of a misstep. It’s not that big of a deal, it wasn’t a monumental occasion, just a minor slip. It wasn’t like Joaquin Phoenix falling completely off of the stage.

He did a good job singing this Van Halen classic, too, don’t you think?

Chris Brown Finally Releases A Statement

by on Feb.16, 2009, under articles

Chris Brown has finally issued a statement yesterday via his spokesman.

He said, “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”

And there you have it. Doesn’t sound like he has any real remorse for what he did. Either that, or we haven’t gotten the entire scoop on what’s happened.

Hopefully Rihanna can move forward from what has transpired and stay away from him, no matter who started the argument.
