50 Cent Says He’s The Reason Eminem Got Fat
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.27, 2009, under articles

In this new video that 50 Cent has posted on his site, he says that he’s the reason why Eminem got fat. But he does go in to detail as to what happened to Shady that caused him to put on a few extra pounds.
Think he’s just trying to drum up publicity for their new album? I wish they’d just drop it already, respectively. Yes, Dr. Dre, I’m talking to you, too.

Rihanna Was Pregnant When Chris Brown Beat Her?
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.26, 2009, under articles

According to Star magazine, Rihanna was hiding a possible pregnancy from her boyfriend Chris Brown. Right before he beat her to a pulp, she visited an OB/GYN at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because she thought she was pregnant by that SOB.
She had already confided in some friends that she suspected she was pregnant by Chris.
A source at the doctor’s office said, “She was extremely fidgety. She seemed totally uncomfortable.” It’s being said that she feared that he would dump her if he found out the news.
What a jerk.

Natalie Portman comes off as this sweet, girl next door type, but she says, “I never said I was a role model” in this hilarious video. She drops F-bombs like they’re nothing, check it out.
I couldn’t grab the actual video to embed it here, due to the embedding being disabled, but I got the song so that you can hear it.
You’ve gotta see it, though, Natalie is freaking hilarious.

Beyonce Launches Dance Contest
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.24, 2009, under articles

First of all, I have to comment how much I detest that fugly dress Beyonce wore to the Oscars on Sunday. Ugh.
Okay, now that that’s out of my system, I’ve just heard that Beyonce has launched a dance contest online with the top prize being $250,000.
She has invited fans to submit videos of themselves dancing to her song, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”.
The winner will also be featured at her concert with their video being shown while she tours.
The deadline for entries is March 6th.

Faith No More Are Reuniting!
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.24, 2009, under articles

Faith No More are rocking right out of the nineties and into the new millenium. Sweet!
Mike Patton and Co. made their mark on the world of 90′s music with “The Real Thing”. They were most known for their song “Epic”, mostly because of how it combined a little bit of rapping with guitars. They were pioneering the crossover, back in the day.
Check out “Epic”:
The group are reforming for a European tour later on this year, according to sources. Their publicist says that the band will play summer festival dates this year.
The reunion is not going to include guitarist Jim Martin, who reportedly left FNM back in ’93. I’m surprised that I still know all of the words to every song on “The Real Thing”. Love that album.

The Pet Shop Boys, Lady Gaga, & Brandon Flowers – Video
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.23, 2009, under articles

The Pet Shop Boys got together with Lady Gaga and Brandon Flowers and performed a lot of their hits at the 2009 Brit Awards.
Loved this ten-minute collaboration of some of their best songs. “West End Girls” was at the very tail end of the performance, and that is my favorite song by them.
What a performance! Kudos to them, I loved it. What a nice techno mix of their best stuff.

New Music: Jennifer Lopez – ‘Hooked On You’
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.22, 2009, under articles

Jennifer Lopez has a new song out called “Hooked On You”. Have a listen and let me know what you think?
I’m not really feeling this song. It’s definitely not one of her better songs. But it’s good to hear something new from J-Lo. I thought she had her head into being just a mother to her kids and walked away from music for a while.
Your thoughts?

Kelly Osbourne Leaves Rehab
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.20, 2009, under articles

Kelly Osbourne has left the rehab facility where she was being treated for whatever unknown addiction that she was suffering from.
She was recently spotted shopping with her mother in California. She was said to have completed the rehab center’s 30-day program.
This marks the third time that Kelly’s been to rehab. Let’s hope it’s her last. But we’re still left with questions as to why she entered this time. When she went in, her mother, Sharon, said that we’d have to wait for an explanation as to why she went in. She’s still mum on it, though.
We’re waiting.
