Taylor Hicks Tickets Given Away

by on Mar.18, 2009, under articles

The leader of the Soul Patrol, Taylor Hicks, was giving away tickets to his concert at The Roxy for tonight’s show.

TMZ reports that his tickets ended up going for nothing on Goldstar.com, but hasn’t sold out. Apparently, after they covered it, people decided to come in droves to fill those seats.

I’d go see Taylor Hicks for an $8.50 fee. He probably still sings live, unlike many other stars, and he most likely puts on a really good show.

Jessica Simpson Flubs In Her Daisy Dukes

by on Mar.16, 2009, under articles

A daisy dukes wearing Jessica Simpson ended her “Bob Your Head” tour this Saturday, by flubbing lines to her own songs. Lovely.

She said to the crowd, “I’m just so excited to be here doing this. It’s a dream come true. I feel like I’ve been given a second chance.”

She reportedly messed up the opening lyrics to her song, “Remember That”.

Of the mishap, she said, “Oops! I said whiskey too early! I messed up! I’m so embarrassed! But I’m starting over again because I really want you guys to hear the lyrics the right way.”

Afterwards, she sang “Still Don’t Stop Me”, also mixing up the opening lyrics. She said, “I messed up again! I do this all the time!”

Nice. I’m sure people paid good money to hear her mess up like that. Get it together, girl.

50 Cent Releases His Own Sex Tape

by on Mar.15, 2009, under articles

Oh my God, 50 Cent is off the hook!

In his neverending feud with rapper Rick Ross, Fiddy has released a sex tape featuring Rick’s baby mama. Oh my God, that is time that YOU CANNOT GET BACK, PEOPLE!

Whatever you do, DO NOT watch this nonsense! This is just too much and way over the line.

boo boo tv DOT com –connect the dots to check it out, but it’s very NSFW or life, for that matter.

It’s awful that 50 felt the need to put Rick’s baby’s mother’s babymaker out there like that. AWFUL. I guess the moral of the story is: Don’t mess with 50 Cent.

Also, 50 Cent had this on his website from Rick’s son’s mother, Tia. He also says that Brooke, his other baby’s mother, is an escort and shows proof in a magazine. Tia confirms that Rick was a corrections officer in Florida and his jewelry is rented, and maybe even fake. She said she doesn’t know where he got the money to put a down payment on his million $$ home, along with leasing his cars.

Fiddy takes her shopping and buys her a fur coat and some new shoes. Rubbin’ it in, Fiddy!!!

Joaquin Phoenix Raps, Starts Fight

by on Mar.13, 2009, under articles

Joaquin Phoenix is nuts. There, I’ve said it. He had said goodbye or “Bye! Good” to Hollywood in favor of a career as the Mountain Man Rapper who lost his razor.

Check out the video below:

Is it all staged? From what I understand, his craziness is all being documented by his brother-in-law, Casey Affleck.

Here’s Casey with the camera equipment, in case you were curious:

He’s still a crazy guy, though. Keep rapping, Joaquin!

Britney Spears has just released the video for her third single from “Circus”, “If You Seek Amy”.

Kelly Clarkson Performs ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ On American Idol – Video

by on Mar.11, 2009, under articles

Kelly Clarkson performed her latest hit “My Life Would Suck Without You” on American Idol. She told Ryan Seacrest that she’s not seeing anyone and that the song isn’t about anyone in particular.

It’s still a good song and Kelly has a knack for getting songs to sing that people can relate to. Don’t you think?

And it’s got to be weird for her to perform on Idol again…But Kelly’s weird in her own right. She just revealed that she pees in the shower. How much more weird gross and sharing can she be?

Danny Gokey Performs ‘PYT’ On American Idol – Video

by on Mar.11, 2009, under articles

Danny Gokey performed Michael Jackson’s 1993 hit, “PYT (Pretty Young Thing)” and did a decent job of it. Obviously, I’m not as impressed as Paula Abdul was, but it’s whatever’s in her Coke cup that she needs to share.

He was definitely doing the white boy dancing. But overall, his singing wasn’t bad. I would take his version over the original, but it was still good.

And is it me, or did someone tell Randy Jackson that he says the word “dawg” too much? Is he trying out a new word here? “Dude.”

Jason Segel Performs ‘Dracula’s Lament’

by on Mar.11, 2009, under articles

Jason Segel is beginning to become one of my favorite actors. In “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, he did the score to “Dracula’s Lament” and it was just so cute.

While Jason was out with Paul Rudd, promoting their new flick, “I Love You, Man”, Jason performed the song for the crowd.

Check it out:

And the original from the movie:

Too funny.
