Busta Rhymes has released the trailer to his new video for “Respect My Conglomerate”. The video features cameos from Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, Tyrese, Xzibit, Idris Elba, David Banner, Spliff Starr, Jackie Long, Raekwon, and Adam Rodriguez.

Check out the trailer”
The single comes from his album, “Back On My B.S.”, which is due out in stores on May 19th. If that date sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same day Eminem’s dropping “Relapse”.

Uh oh, methinks this won’t get any airplay on MTV! (It’s not like they play music anymore, anyways, right?)

Leona Lewis Involved In Horse Riding Accident
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.30, 2009, under articles
It looks like Madonna isn’t the only one who’s having trouble with horse riding. Leona Lewis has been forced to delay recording her upcoming album due to being hit in the face by a horse.
She was riding the horse in L.A., when she got knocked to the ground and the incident caused her to split her lip.

A source says, “Something startled the horse and it flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face. She was knocked flying by the force of it. Everyone rushed over to see if she was okay, she was holding her face in agony. Thankfully she didn’t need any surgery, but she was told to stay at home and rest just in case she passed out with concussion. She doesn’t blame the horse though, it was just one of those things.”
The source adds, “She had been due in the studio to record, but she felt shaken up so they had to cancel. It has pushed everything back, but she’s such a grafter she’ll easily make up for lost time.”
Maybe it was the “paparazzi”???

Lady Gaga Given Time Off To Rest
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.30, 2009, under articles
Lady Gaga has been burning the candle at both ends, supporting her Fame Ball tour and doing appearances after appearances.
Now, after almost collapsing onstage during a show in Georgia, the pop star was just told that she needs to take a month off of work.

Record company execs are worried for Gaga and have told her to take the entire month of August off to get some much needed R&R.
A source says, “Stefani has been working relentlessly since last summer. She has criss-crossed the globe on numerous occasions promoting her album…and the pressure has now started to get to her. At a recent show in Atlanta she nearly collapsed on stage the day after a particularly wild night out. Her management have spotted the warning signs and do no want her going off the rails. They’ve scrapped all her commitments in August to give her time to get her head straight.”

Piers Morgan Defends Susan Boyle Over Backlash
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.30, 2009, under articles
“Britain’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan is striking back at all of the backlash that Susan Boyle has been receiving lately.

He wrote, “The Susan Boyle backlash has already started, and pretty unedifying it is too. She’s had a ‘terrible’ makeover, she’s ‘cracking up’, she ‘lied’ about not being kissed and so on. It’s so typically British to do this, and so utterly pathetic.”
He added, “Susan is a lovely, decent, church-going, modest and kind woman who is dealing with becoming the hottest star on the planet with remarkable patience and good humor. She is a fabulous advertisement for our country, and her success is a wonderful testament to the powers of persistence, positive thought, and living a dream, however unlikely the chances of realizing it. Those who seek to knock her down just when that dream finally comes true in the most sensational fashion possible, are nothing but cruel, heartless toads. They should just all shut up, give Susan a break, and let her enjoy her extraordinary moment in the global spotlight.”
Go Piers! I couldn’t agree more. Let Susan have these moments when people are recognizing her and putting her up on a pedestal. She deserves it, and a record deal, even if she doesn’t win the show.

Matt Giraud Eliminated On ‘American Idol’ Tonight
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.29, 2009, under articles
It was Rat Pack Standards night on American Idol last night, with Jamie Foxx mentoring the wannabe singers.
Matt Giraud sang “My Funny Valentine” and even though he was saved by the first judges veto in American Idol history, he was given the boot.
What do you think? Was he given a raw deal or was it meant to be?
Oh yeah, Slash is mentoring next week’s show for ROCK WEEK. I may actually watch this one.
