Ten-year-old ballerina and promising singer, Hollie Steel, performed “I Could’ve Danced All Night” on the third episode of “Britain’s Got Talent” on April 25, 2009.

All of the judges had nothing but nice things to say, except for Simon not liking her ballerina outfit.

Think she’ll be some stiff competition for Susan Boyle?

Lady Gaga performed her song “Pokerface” on Paul De Leeuw’s show, “Mooi! Weer De Leeuw” yesterday.

I’m not sure if I’m feeling this version of the song. It’s kind of slow and bluesy sounding, and I like the piano in it. But it just seems like she’s being so eccentric on purpose.

Fourteen years ago, singing sensation Susan Boyle appeared on Michael Barrymore’s show “My Kind Of People”. She sang the song, “I Don’t Know How To Love Him” and did a fantastic job.

The host of the show, however, was intent on making fun and trying to get a peek up her skirt. At the end of the show, he planted a huge kiss on her.

I just don’t know what to make of this except for calling it a travesty. What a shame that she couldn’t have enjoyed the stardom at a much younger age, because this fool wanted to act like a jerk.

What a sham!

Joel Madden is up in arms over discrimination regarding his many tattoos. Apparently, an airline attendant told the rocker that he had to cover up his tattoos before he could board the British Airways flight.

He said yesterday, “Was just told by a british air person I can’t get on the plane till I cover my tatts. Should I fight the power?”

Afterward, he said that another attendant disagreed with the first, saying, “I really actually am in shock he won’t let me on the plane till I put long sleeves on and other BA rep is disagreeing.”

He went on to say that he hasn’t felt that small since asking Nicole Richie out and that he was embarrassed due to all of the people staring and laughing.

I’ve emailed British Airways (and you can too, at media.relations@ba.com, if you want more information on their policies.) Let’s see if they respond, I’m interested in knowing if the attendant involved was just singling Madden out or if they have an anti-tattoo policy.

Update: British Airways has told TMZ that the employee is being reprimanded:

A rep for British Airways just straight up told us the employee is being reprimanded — adding “we don’t understand why the employee took it upon himself to enforce regulations that don’t exist.”

Jennifer Aniston Jessica Simpson Ladies, in case you were wondering, John Mayer is single!

It was reported recently that Mayer was dating model Scheana Marie Jancan. He denies the rumors, stating that he’s not dating anyone at the moment.

He irritatingly told the snappers, “If I had a girlfriend, she would be incredibly offended by me saying, ‘I don’t have a girlfriend’. That’s how you can be sure. I could say, ‘I’m not with anybody.’ That’d be a death wish if you were the woman. If you were the woman and you stepped out and said, ‘I’m not with anybody, you’d have to go home and take a lashing for the next three weeks! So that’s the proof.”

Afterward, he walked up to a lady driving, asked her to be his girlfriend, then gave her a peck.

Courtney Love wants to be known for something other than “Yoko’ing” up Nirvana.

Love is planning on opening up her own lingerie store in Hollywood. She has reportedly teamed up with photographer David LaChapelle, who is set to fund the project. The store already has a location on Sunset Boulevard, with a source saying, “They plan to launch it in the summer with a big party.”

For a woman that can’t really dress herself, do you think people will buy her lingerie?

“American Idol” and “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Simon Cowell has told Susan Boyle that she should not become a gimmick, so that people won’t see her and ignore the talent she possesses.

Boyle became an overnight sensation, despite her frumpy appearance. What worries Cowell the most is that since becoming a household name, the press might only report the dirty gossip on the singer.

He says, “The problem is with all the substories about the cat and how she looks. I’m tired of hearing about the way she looks or the kissing, or this or that. Susan mustn’t become a gimmick.”

She’s no gimmick and the lady can sing, but there have been people digging on her because of how she changed her looks. I know that we all fell in love with her voice and the image she represented, but a woman’s got to take care of herself.

So what if she changed her clothes and dyed her hair? The talent is still there.
