Michael Jackson tried to fake it; overdosed instead
by roberta on Jun.30, 2009, under articles
In some shocking news, we’ve just learned that Michael Jackson reportedly tried to fake being ill so that a minor hospital visit would ensue. He wanted to get out of his commitment to the upcoming 50 O2 tour dates, so he mixed up some meds, thinking he would evoke a medical escape clause in his contract with AEG.
A team member said, “Like a child who doesn’t want to go to school, Michael thought he could get away from his obligations if he had a ‘note from the doctor.’”
So sad.
