The Beastie BoysThe Beastie Boys have just announced that their eighth studio album, “Hot Sauce Committee” is finished and due out sometime in September. No release date has been released as of yet for the album that was originally titled, “Tadlock’s Glasses”.

The much anticipated follow-up to “The Mix-Up” has been referred to as “bizarre” by bassist “MCA” Adam Yauch.

The group appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on May 25th and played “What’cha Want” with The Roots.

Yauch added, of the new album, “It’s a combination of playing and sampling stuff as we’re playing, and also sampling pretty obscure records. There are a lot of songs on the record and there are a lot of short songs and they kind of all run into each other.”

  1. ughhhh I don’t think I can wait till September! This album is or hopefully should be awesome if its anything like their old school work. Speaking of, they are showing a Beastie Boys special show this Sunday at 6PM just found it. it’s a show of one of their concert at MSG and I guess like video collage of all their hits from it.
