Demi Lovato Releases Album Cover Art For ‘Here We Go Again’
Demi Lovato has just updated her Twitter page with her official album cover art for “Here We Go Again.” In the posting, she says, “WOW! Hahahaha…. you guys remembered! I love you guys… Here ya go!”
She talked of her first album, “Don’t Forget”, in comparison to this release, saying, “I think ‘Don’t Forget’ was a lot more Jonas sounding. It had a little more of their feel on it. But this album is just me.”
She did, however, co-write one of her new songs, “Can’t Stop The World”, with Nick Jonas. She also collaborated with John Mayer on two tracks, “World Of Chances”, and “Shut Up And Love Me”. Also, she collaborated with singer/songwriter, Jon McLaughlin And The Academy Is… frontman William Beckett, with whom she co-wrote “For The Love Of A Daughter”, which she wrote about her relationship with her father after her parents’ divorce in 1994.
“Here We Go Again” is set for a release date of July 21, 2009.
Of her upcoming tour with former “American Idol” contestant, David Archuleta, she says that she’ll be concentrating more on the music and less on the spectacle of a crazy stage performance.
She says, “I feel like it’s more about the music, so I don’t want to take away from that.”
Of this album, Lovato says, “I felt a little more confident this time, but I also felt like it was a little more pressure. I feel like, for me, this is definitely a step forward. I was really, really nervous making the album, but I feel like it’s come together. I’m really, really, really excited about it.”
