Kelly Clarkson did an interview for 99.9 Virgin Radio in Toronto, when the interviewer, Billie Holiday, asks her if she’s heard anything about the Will.I.Am/Perez stuff.

Kelly responds, “You know, I’ve only heard hearsay this morning in interviews. I wasn’t there last night, so I didn’t hear anything last night…but, yeah, somebody punched somebody.”

Billie says, “Yeah, Will.I.Am’s manager has just been charged now with assault for punching Perez. We had him on this morning – Perez.”

Kelly says, “I’ve gotta be honest with you, he’s going to get a lot of flowers. I’m not talking about Perez, I mean the manager. I’m not saying that violence is the answer, but what did you expect? You can’t say that much crap about people and not be able to take something.” (continue reading…)

Chris Brown’s court date was today and he has plead guilty to one count of felonious assault and has received a light sentence.

Brown has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation along with six months of community service. Since Brown is not a resident of the state of California, he’ll be able to do his community service in his home state of Virginia.

What a travesty of justice. What do you think?

In other related news, since it’s the “22th”, the Rihanna sex tape is supposed to leak today.

Perez Hilton took to his official Twitter page last night to say that he was searching for a place to hang out with Lady Gaga that was safe. Afterward, he tweeted that he was assaulted by Black Eyed Peas member, Will.I.Am.

It turns out that Perez was confronted by Fergie for how he trashes her on his site. Later, at a club, he said that he was confronted by Will.I.Am and told to never write about their band again. He tweeted the above message that he got hit by Will.

It was found that he was actually assaulted by the Peas’ manager, Polo Molina.

Lady Gaga took the stage to perform her hit songs, “Lovegame” and “Poker Face” at the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards on June 21, 2009.

You have to watch the end of the song, she’s got sparks and flames coming from her chest. Nice touch, Gaga.

Katy Perry is apparently still riding on the coattails of the only real hit song she’s had. In a bid to stay relevant, the singer reveals that she is turned on by women.

She says that she’s not a real lesbian, but she likes to hit on girls at bars. She says, “I have talked a lot about wanting to kiss girls, but am I a lesbian? No. It’s just a kiss. I would like to get it on with Agyness Deyn. She’s a little punk rock Lolita. Beautiful face, beautiful shoulders. I look at her and I think, ‘Ooh, I’m so turned on. What’s happening?’”

She adds, “I get hit on when I go to gay clubs, but I it on women too. Beautiful ones. I’m attracted to cool, alternative women. But I’d only ever have a drink with them. I’m such a tease!”

Oh she’s just sooooooo controversial, right?

Madonna has gotten her way with her second adoption from Malawi and was able to bring tot, Mercy James, home to London on Saturday.

James was accompanied on the private jet by a nanny, a nurse, and an aide.

James’ reported father, James Kambewa, was said to have given Madonna his blessing on rearing his daughter. He reportedly said, “Let the child go … My only plea to Madonna is that she should seriously look after the child. I am asking Madonna to make sure that, while the child is growing, she must be informed of me as her biological father … she really must know that while she is far away the father is still alive.”

Adam Lambert had an album on Hi-Fi Recordings, in which he recorded a song called, “Want”. You can listen to the song here!

The song appears on an album titled, “On With The Show”, that was recorded prior to his stint on “American Idol.” The album is planned for a summer release.

In response to the release of the song, Lambert issued this statement:

“Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio. The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on. I’m thrilled to be working with some of today’s hottest songwriters and producers and can’t wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like.”

Slipknot’s frontman Corey Taylor has become obsessed with “Britain’s Got Talent” sensation, Susan Boyle.

He called her audition “incredible” and said that it mesmerized him.

He said, “Susan Boyle is incredible. Somebody told me about the show and I said, ‘I have got to see this – ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, are you kidding me? I put it on and she was fantastic. The people on that panel were in tears. When Susan leans into it, she’s great.”

He added that all of the buzz surrounding her health problems is crazy. He added, “She’s a little bit crazy, but aren’t we all? Anyone who’s worth their salt is a little bit bent out of shape.”

I’m not sure what it is about the idea of autotune that makes me grin every time I hear it’s infernal warbling attempt to make some lousy singer sound half-way decent, when the world has more than enough talented singers to lead any song (I’m looking at you Kanye… stick to song-writing). But what I do know is that when you apply it to mainstream news, C-SPAN, and political debate shows… the thing that was on the hook, is suddenly OFF THE HOOK! (continue reading…)

Usher recent did an ad for the “Got Milk?” campaign for Body By Milk.

In the ad, he says, “I pour my heart into my music. How do I stay in tune? With milk. The protein and nutrients in lowfat milk help me build muscle and stay fit. So eat right, exercise and grab a glass of ice-cold milk. Now that’s chill.”
