Michael Jackson’s funeral memorial tickets – information

michael_jackson_memorialAEG Live has just held a press conference for the Michael Jackson ceremony in Los Angeles today. They have announced that there will be 11,000 tickets for the Staples Center, along with 6,500 tickets to the Nokia Theater.

Tickets are not being sold and will be randomly drawn from those who register at StaplesCenter.com.

The opportunity to register for tickets begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, July 3, 2009 and ends at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Fans who are not able to attend due to the increased demand for tickets are encouraged to watch the televised ceremony. The ceremony will be streamed live on a worldwide feed.

They offered no details about what the memorial consists of. They haven’t released details on whether or not the media will have access to the memorial as of yet.

  4. we have to all remember that the world lost a great entertainer. but the jackson’s lost a family memeber.I think people in the media should refrain from saying hurtful things about michael.I would also like to say that germaine jackson is one terrific guy. his family should be sooo proud of him.

  7. want to take my 10 year old so she can see see how much eveyone loved micheal for all his mucic and for helping many people to know that if you do good in this life people will always remember you.

I was born in 1968 an Michael is only ten yrs older then me an its very sad that he has passed away the way he did he will be greatly missed but never forgoten.I grow up on his music all my life an to this day i love his music still.When i found out of michael passing my heart went out to his 3 children an mother an family i feel the pain that his children are feeling of loseing a loved one,my mother passed away last year an its hard an hurts but i promise in time it will get easyer.GOD BLESS THE JACKSON FAMILY, love you michael R.I.P. I would like 2 tickets
