Amy Winehouse wants to record a Caribbean album
Amy Winehouse is driving her record label crazy, this time, by insisting on recording her next album in a Caribbean language. Well, she sure has spent enough time there!
She has reportedly become so accustomed to the Caribbean music and customs that she wants to release an album in the local language, Kweyol.
A source said, “Amy hasn’t decided whether to translate the tracks she’s already written or to write something else that better suits the sound of the language.”
An industry insider added, “There’s no way we can release an album with Amy singing in a Caribbean language. We’d be a laughing stock – it would be a commercial flop.”
