Jessica Simpson is not an Indian giver
Jessica Simpson got in a little bit of trouble with the media over her comment regarding Native Americans.
Before she got ditched by Tony Romo at an iHop, she bought him a nice speedboat for $100,000. When he dumped her, she was asked if she’d be taking the boat back. She replied, “I’m not an Indian giver.”
Some were offended by her remarks and demanded that she apologize for her negative words about Native Americans. I am part Native American and I didn’t really see what the fuss was all about. She’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, so it’s reasonable to believe that she has no clue whatsoever.
TMZ caught up with the blond outside of Katsuya in Hollywood and asked her about the incident, to which she replied, “I am Indian, alright?”
It wasn’t a big deal, it’s not like she made slanted-eyes or anything.

A few facts wrong in this article! Not dumped at IHOP. The boat was 20k. Not that 20k is inexpensive, by any means. Sort of rude that he kept it, but hey, he hasn’t seemed like a very classy guy lately. (Did she really say “I am Indian, alright?”? That’s pretty random).
For the record, I too am part (and very proud) Native American. My Great-Great Grandfather was a Cherokee Chief. That phrase has been around so long, it sort of rolls off me like water off a duck’s back. I hope it didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings – it seems the gossip grapevine is making a mountain out of a molehill. Or Joe Simpson is at it again ;-)
