Kelly Clarkson responds to Kanye West’s VMAs behavior
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.14, 2009, under articles
Kanye West acted like a total fool tonight, getting up on stage and grabbing the mic away from Taylor Swift. She won the Best Female Video award and was on stage, giving her acceptance speech.
Kanye took the mic from her and proclaimed that Beyonce put out the best video on the planet. Poor Taylor, just stood there, not knowing what was happening. Beyonce later accepted her award for Video Of The Year and gave Taylor the stage to finish her thoughts. So classy, go Beyonce! (continue reading…)

Lady Gaga’s bloody Paparazzi performance
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.14, 2009, under articles
Lady Gaga was more than strange at tonight’s Video Music Awards. The singer performed her hit song “Paparazzi” and it was, well, interesting, to say the least.
The video itself was just weird. I love her music and everything and this song is great, but there’s really no explanation for this tomfoolery.

Boston gets Rickrolled
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.12, 2009, under articles
Wednesday morning, some pranksters got together and installed seven notes on the Great Dome’s temporary scaffolding.
They are musical notes to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Too funny. Here’s a link to the video of one of the goofs responsible for this tomfoolery (embedding disabled).
I was tormented, so you have to watch, too
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.12, 2009, under articles
I came across this video (thanks Steve) and my eardrums will never forgive me. It’s a fusion of heavy metal mixed in with a touch of electronic music and crappy auto-tuned vocals.
I had to suffer through Attack Attack! and now, so do you. And what on Earth are these clowns doing with their stances? I think they’re trying to take a crap, and this video is the result: (continue reading…)
Michael Jackson tribute concert postponed
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.11, 2009, under articles
I guess this is what happens when the people that you say are going to be performing, know nothing about your plans for them. Yes, I’m talking to you, Jermaine Jackson.
Jermaine did a press conference for the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna, in which he said that Chris Brown, Natalie Cole, and Mary J. Blige would all be performing. It looks like no one told them.
The concert will still go ahead, but it has been postponed until 2010.

Activision rapes Kurt Cobain’s image
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.10, 2009, under articles
Activision has put Kurt Cobain in some rather unsightly poses in “Guitar Hero 5″ and he looks pretty silly. Ever thought Kurt would be jamming out to “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi? How about rapping along to Public Enemy’s “Bring The Noise”? Kurt was also seen getting up close to sing Megadeth’s “Sweating Bullets”. While all are pretty decent songs, should Kurt’s image be used like this?
The video game makers have really done a number on Kurt and he is probably turning over in his grave as I write this.
This would be something that I would normally blame Courtney Love for. She’s sold him out before, so this wouldn’t be the first time. (continue reading…)
