Fans go crazy for Lady Gaga’s ‘The Fame Monster’ – Photo
CherryTree Records has just posted this photo on Twitter, saying that the fans are really going crazy over Lady Gaga’s sophomore album, “The Fame Monster”.
The label tweeted, “Best Buy Lady Gaga instore madness! Fun.” And craziness ensues. But alas, dear fans, I must tell you that the album you are killing each other over is an edited version of “The Fame Monster”.
Sorry to break the news to you. Resume killing each other now.
Update: Click here to read what Gaga had to say about her Heartbeats headphones.

How about telling the whole story? She also released a smaller 8 track Fame Monster album that has only new tracks, for about $8. There’s not a single previously released track on it, so why say they are “killing” each other over an edited version?

If you’ve been reading my site for any length of time, then you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of Lady Gaga’s. When I said that fans were “killing each other”, it was a figure of speech due to the mayhem that her appearance caused at that particular Best Buy location.
And the version that people are currently buying is edited. CherryTree Records revealed that info earlier.

Ok, so if you are such a big fan, then why did you call it her ‘sophomore album’? Any fan would know that it’s just an EP and not an album at all.

She said that it was her sophomore album herself. Besides that, I’ve talked to her myself. She is a really nice person.

Does the edited version effect the songs much cause I was thinking of picking it up but I dislike censorship in songs…

I wouldn’t pick up the censored version, you’ll miss out on the best parts of the song. I would get it online, if it’s not censored there. Eff Best Buy and all those box stores….lol

Is there anywhere to get them unedited? So far I’ve heard Amazon MP3 and Itunes have edited versions…maybe I’m missing something?

I bought the “Fame Monster” CD on Amazon, not knowing they censored it. I want an uncensored CD copy, so is there any news from her record label that they will release this version? There are comments on itunes that “Bad Romance” is censored. So, I’m not going to rebuy what I already have.
Also, is the “Fame Monster” CD copyright protected? I tried burning a CD copy for my car, and it sounds distorted.
