We have been privileged to get a review copy of OneRepublic’s “Waking Up” prior to its release date of November 17th.

The CD starts off slow, mellow, and groovy, making it a fairly easy listen. “Made For You” starts off the album with it’s melodic coolness and slow pop sounds.

Song two, “All The Right Moves” makes me think back to the eighties for some reason. It’s a great tune, and it’s just harmony in all of the right places. This has to be my favorite song from the album, thus far.

Song three, “Secrets”, starts off slowly, but builds up to a sweet ballad of beauty. Followed by “Everybody Loves Me”, which was released digitally on October 20th. This is a good pop/folk-sounding song. It’s got a groove that makes you want to move around. (continue reading…)

Singer Aaron Carter has been ousted from dancing competition “Dancing With The Stars” tonight, after his Foxtrot and 90′s Samba failed to impress the viewing public.

That leaves us with the top four for the competition, Mya and Dmitry, Donny and Kym, Kelly and Louis, and Joanna and Derek.

Did he cry?!???

I’m predicting Kelly Osbourne gets the boot next, but it really is anyone’s game.

I didn’t think that Jessica Simpson had the cojones to actually nail down Gerard Butler to one woman, and it turns out, I was right.

An inside snitch said, “After just three dates with Gerard, she was acting like a high school girl who was so into her boyfriend, while Gerard was treating it like a fling and telling pals how hot and sexy she was. Jessica knew what he was saying about her, but didn’t care.”

Even her dad was telling her to stay away from girlfriend hopper, Gerry. The source added, “Joe was livid! He knew she was headed for heartbreak. She’s always attracted to bad boys.”

The snitch went as far as calling Jess whiney about being alone and getting dumped constantly, yet being dumb enough to fall any random celeb with a few notches under his belt.

Amy Winehouse has really cleaned herself up. She has seemingly kicked the drug habit and has gone on a self-improvement kick. She recently got breast enhancement surgery, she’s gotten her lips plumped for that special trout pout, and now she wants a little junk in her trunk.

A source said, “Amy loves her boobs. She can’t stop touching them and showing them off to friends. She says she feels womanly again and wants to be more curvy like she used to be. She thinks by having another op and bum implants that she will achieve her dream pin-up look.”

I guess her father would be able to corroborate that story. When asked how his daughter was doing, Mitch Winehouse commented, “Fantastic, fantastic. Her boobs are great as well.” That crap is so gross, I can’t even think about it. What a Joe Simpson slob.

I’m starting to think that she’s either addicted to having the surgeries, or maybe it’s just the drugs that they give you during recovery?

In 1989, soldiers at Gitmo tortured detainees by playing them some hard rock and heavy metal. Looking at this list, I can see why some of it was torture. Seriously, Manuel Noriega got RickRolled!

The song choices were reportedly used to keep terrorists awake, but Kix, really? I could fall asleep every night to “Don’t Close Your Eyes”. They probably picked that song because of its title, or because this was the only music the troops had on hand.

Now, some musicians are asking for an official government list of songs that are used for torturing suspected terrorists. I could probably make a mixtape of some gangster rap that would work. Throw in some Pimp C, Notorious B.I.G., and some Eazy-E, that oughtta do it. Plus, add some whiney music like Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”, “All Through The Night” by Cyndi Lauper, and maybe some U2.

That would make the detainees sleepy, so that the troops could keep them awake. This torture thing, you’re doing it wrong.

Last night, Christina Aguilera went out to dinner with her husband at Mozzo Restaurant and debuted a new look. She chopped off all of her hair, and she almost looks like Lady Gaga. Now who’s copying whose style?

Oh yeah, and leggings are NOT pants. That’s all.

Madonna doesn’t want to meet the parents of her latest boytoy, Jesus Luz, probably because they’d be around the same age.

She recently jetted off to Brazil and it was rumored that she was there to meet his family, but she says that’s not the case.

She made sure everyone knows that she’s helping the poor, instead of doing the traditional “meeting the parents” thing.

She said, “I am going there strictly for fundraising and humanitarian purposes.”

Joss Stone is of the mind that maybe drugs like marijuana and other substances may make her more creative in the writing process.

The singer, who recently put up her house to release her latest album, said that she may dabble now and again, and it’s like “having a drink.”

She said, “I don’t want to take all those horrible drugs. Although some sound fun, so I might dabble now and then! I smoke cannabis, but I don’t think it’s really a drug. It’s more of a herb. I don’t regret saying that at all.”

When she was asked about the frequency of her pot habit, she said, “It depends if I’m working, and on what song. It’s like having a drink.”

She should do whatever it was that she was doing when she released “You Had Me” because that song was cool. So if she was doing Yoga standing on her head, hitting the pipe, then so be it.
