Kelly Osbourne on tonight’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Kelly Osbourne danced the Rhumba with partner Louis Van Amstel on tonight’s “Dancing With The Stars” and it was okay…
It’s the semi-finals tonight and the dancers are all doing three dances. She scored a total of 24 for her first dance. Not too shabby, but her solo dance was a bit awkward. Kudos to her on the final move of the dance, though.
For dance number two, Kelly and Louis are doing the Quickstep. They’re doing a really good job on this dance, which they are killing to Nena’s “99 Red Balloons”. Louis almost dropped her, but it was still good. They received a total score of 27.
For their knockout dance, Kelly and Louis have chosen the Cha Cha Cha. It was very short, but her outfit was adorable. I love the headband, too. But this isn’t “Dancing With The Headwear”…so we’ll see if they make it to the finals. They scored a total of 27. I can imagine it was very difficult dancing after having injections in her feet earlier today.
What do you think? Will she make it?

Donny Osmond on ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Donny Osmond really choked on tonight’s “Dancing With The Stars”. His partner, Kym Johnson, brought in Gilles Marini for a consultation while doing his version of the Tango.
Unfortunately for them, Kym suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction, where they also suffered some missteps. Donny blamed it on seeing his sister, Marie, in the audience. Bad Donny! You can’t blame family. I would’ve thought that he had it in the rehearsals…but it was just off. Hopefully dance number two won’t be so painful to watch. They scored a total of 21.
They took the stage for their next dance, the Samba. He really shook his tush on the stage and it looks like Donny’s BACK. Bruno’s right, he nailed it. On this dance, they scored 26.
For their knockout dance, Donny and Kym have chosen the Jitterbug and they did a fantastic job. It was fast-paced an cute. They garnered a score of 27.
Out of 90 possible points, they scored a grand total of 74.
Do you think Donny has what it takes to go to the finals?

Chris Brown isn’t ready to date just yet
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Chris Brown says that he’s not ready to beat anyone else down date just yet.
In a new interview with MTV News, he said, “I’ve been kinda chillin’. I mean, I’m Chris Brown. I’m not saying it like that, but it’s just like, girls are gonna be around. I love women. But I would say I’ve just been chillin’. I haven’t really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody. I’ve just kinda been working on me. Like I said, I’m just really getting me straight.”
I hope she doesn’t see that as a sign to go back to him. We all know that he’s still holding a candle for her. Don’t do it Rihanna!
T.I. to get married to Tameka Cottle upon prison release
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
It was rumored that T.I. and girlfriend Tameka Cottle tied the knot before he was imprisoned earlier this year, but have since denied the reports.
Now, there are new reports that the couple will make it official when he secures a release date from prison. She admits that there are wedding bells in their future, and she wants a big to-do.
She said, “Sometime next year, but we can’t really give a date yet because we have to find out when Tip is coming home. We’ll have to just plan around that, but I envision a fairytale wedding.”
Slash defends Fergie’s version of ‘Paradise City’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Just last week, I posted the collaboration between Slash, Fergie, and Cypress Hill for the Guns N’ Roses hit, “Paradise City”. It seems that I wasn’t the only one upset that he’s allowing the butchering of classics.
He has defended his decision to bring her on as part of his upcoming album. He took to his Twitter page to say, “Until now, not too many people have heard Fergie sing Rock & Roll but she sings it better tha most dudes I know. She’s a screamer at heart.”
I’m not buying it, dude. Leave the classics in the eighties, please. There will never be another Axl Rose, even though you don’t like him. His vocals were classic and unique and you can’t even begin to replace that, especially with the likes of Fergie.
Rihanna sings about Chris Brown attack in ‘Cold Case Love’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Rihanna has written a song on her new album, “Rated R” about her attack by Chris Brown. The song is called “Cold Case Love” and it was written about the incident in February.
She said, “It was one of the first songs I did for the album and it is one of the most emotional.”
She also revealed that she wanted to get back into the studio quickly after the incident to avoid the public pity. She added, “When I was given time off in March, it was a little crazy. Being at home was driving me mad. I couldn’t go anywhere. It was, like, ‘Look at the poor victim!’ So I called my label and said, ‘I’m ready.’”
I hope writing that was cathartic for her and that she never subjects herself to that loser ever again.

Amy Winehouse wants to get a nose job
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
In addition to having breast enhancement surgery, Amy Winehouse says that she also wants to get a nose job. She has already spent roughly $58,775 on her boob job, but wants to get some more work done, even though her family is set against it.
A source said, “Everyone tells her that there’s nothing wrong with her nose. But Amy does nothing by halves. Now she’s beaten drugs, plastic surgery must not become her next obsession. Since changing her boobs, Amy has been scrutinizing her body.”
I think her nose is fine, she should leave the plastic surgery to the pros, like Joan Rivers. Having plastic surgery unnecessarily is also an addiction, as well as the painkillers that come as a result.

Rapper Snoop Dogg opened up the trading today at the New York Stock Exchange, by ringing the bell on Wall Street. He’s set to mentor young people in getting into the business of stocks and bonds by teaming up with business leaders to give a speech on the importance of entrepreneurship.
He’s also gearing up to do an international webcast to discuss the ways to get more teenagers involved in the industry. He will be announcing a winner of the MTVU Movers and Changers competition, in which he will award one young person a grant of $25,000 to start up their own business.

Kelly Osbourne tweets foot doctor photo
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Kelly Osbourne hurt her foot on a recent episode of “Dancing With The Stars” and has taken to Twitter to show us what she has to go through to ensure that she can dance another day.
She said, “My doc is here to numb my feet I’m gonna take a pic and post it it’s so gross.”
The poor thing, that’s got to hurt. Having cortisone injections on your feet are no joke. I hope that she’ll be fine in enough time for tonight’s “Dancing With The Stars”. We’re down to the top four!
