Ashlee Simpson-Wentz wants to embark on a life as a fashion designer, just like her big sister, Jessica. She’s already proven that she’s an awful singer, and after having gotten the boot from “Melrose Place”, we thought we’d heard the last from her.

She has since landed the part of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of “Chicago”. But that’s not enough for her, she also wants to taint the fashion industry with her ideas. Poor thing should stop taking cues from Lindsay Lohan already.

A source said, “Ashlee wants to start a clothing line. She wants it to be both preppy and punk rock. She thinks she can really succeed in fashion.”

And after she doesn’t, will her sister Twitter bash the house that takes her designs when they fail?

Apparently, All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter has a problem with meeting women who are pretty and smart. Poor guy, might we suggest a dating service?

At shows, he’s often greeted by fans, whom he calls “groupies” and they often turn out to be brain dead.

He said, “Searching for intelligence in a woman who would actually have you after a show is hard. You’re not going to have much luck. It would be nice to find somebody who can say a sentence that doesn’t have ‘like’ in it more than once. The women who stay after, well they’re a certain demographic. None of them have brains. That’s a problem. You get close to a girl and then you realize there’s a peanut rattling around up there.”

He should try Craigslist….and we’ll keep that our dirty little secret.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said that he knew that Kurt Cobain was fragile and that he was already prepared for his death by the time he committed suicide.

He said, “There are some people that you meet in life that you just know that they are not going to live to be 100 years old. In some ways, you kind of prepare yourself emotionally for that to be a reality.”

He said that learning of Cobain’s death was a shock and that he was heartbroken at the news of his passing.

He added, “It was a terrible surprise. It was probably the worst thing that has happened to me in my life. I remember the day after that I woke up and I was heartbroken that he was gone. I just felt like, ‘Okay, so I get wake up today and have another day and he doesn’t. Usually it takes something like that for people to appreciate life as a gift and you have to take advantage of the time that you have. Sometimes you just can’t save someone from themselves.”

So true, and still so sad. RIP Kurt Cobain. You were taken from the world too young.

Rihanna is set to take the stage to perform in London on November 16th at a secret location, and she’s nervous. The concert marks her first return to the stage since Chris Brown attacked her in February.

She’s set to perform songs from her newest album, “Rated R” and is worried about everyone’s eyes being on her.

She said, “It’s a live stream worldwide, which means everyone can watch it at the same time all over the world, live, all at once, which is exciting. It makes me nervous, because it’s not just the 6,000 people in the venue, it’s millions of people across the world watching it all at once. It’s exciting, though; it’s a big thing that everyone can see it.”

She also added that she hopes to feed off of the energy at the secret show. She added, “London is one of my favorite cities to go in the world; it’s where I get most of my creative energy.”

Last night, we were not only treated to Aaron Carter’s whiney butt getting the boot from “Dancing With The Stars”, but right before that Susan Boyle performed.

She sang the song that made her famous, “I Dreamed A Dream” and sounded just lovely. The song went beautifully while dancers Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower took to the floor to dance.

Jessica Simpson tweeted that we should all “Celebrate the troops today with the ‘With all my heart bracelet’” and then provided us with a link to her website. Upon checking her site, I was greeted with this .50 creation.

It looks like it was made by some granny worked in a sweat shop, doing macrame with some funky trinkets. Seriously, she used parachute cord? And she thinks would be an awesome way to celebrate Veteran’s Day? Is she retarded? No, really, is she???

What a waste of $20.00 for anyone who buys this mess. I could craft something cheaper out of shoe laces and a pop cap and come up with something better.

After creating a mass hysteria (thanks to Brad and Joe), we’ve just learned that Steven Tyler will continue on as the mouthpiece for Aerosmith. Thank God for small favors!

The news started when Brad Whitford was quoted as saying that they may have to seek out another singer, along with Joe Perry whining that Steven doesn’t return his calls and blah blah blah.

Well, folks, none of it is true. Steven isn’t going anywhere and Aerosmith will remain intact. He took the stage while Joe was performing with his act, The Joe Perry Project and cleared the whole thing up.

Miley Cyrus has some really strange and dedicated fans. Just a month ago, a site popped up due to Miley’s decision to quit Twitter. The site involves the owner, a rabid Miley fan, and Fuzzy the cat.
