Adam Lambert is working with RedOne for his debut album

adam_lambert_redoneAdam Lambert has confirmed that he is working with Lady Gaga producer RedOne for his debut album.

RedOne was responsible for Gaga’s two biggest hits, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” and Lambert wants that influence on his first album.

Sources say that Lambert spent the weekend holed up with RedOne in a recording studio in L.A. A label source said that Lambert’s debut will be inspired by Queen, but he also wants to look “for a new sound that goes beyond what he did on Idol.”

Lambert’s debut album is set for a fall release.

I think that he should collaborate with Lady Gaga for a song or two. What do you think?

    Well, I hope RedOne does not obscur Adam as much as they did Lady Gaga. She is such a great performer with great themes but they put so many bells, whistles, bling, blang and ruffles around her that you can hardly find her in all that sensory bombardment–except for her terrific “Love Game” (which looks like Paula Abdul’s choreography)! I hope that Adam and his voice and message are stand outs and that “confusion” remains insignificant and mostly in the background…more like Nikka Costa, Janet Jackson and Madonna accomplish.

    I dont’ care if he makes a whole CD just singing the phonebook. He has an amazing voice and vocal range. I am really looking forward to seeing what he does. It sounds like it’s going to be along the lines of his song Glamorize which I love.

    I love the glam of Bowey, etc. With GaGa, though, I lose a bit of her in her costumes. I would hate to lose the Lambert I love behind some over-hyped marketing/promotion plan. Save the Lambert! Keep him real! I can’t wait for his album.
