Adam Lambert & Kris Allen set to duet?

kris_allen_adam_lambert_duetAdam Lambert and Kris Allen are set to collaborate on a song writing project.

The two of them will be spending a lot of time together on the Idols Live tour, so they’ll have plenty of opportunity to come up with something fans will enjoy.

Lambert says, “It could happen, maybe we’ll write a song on the road.” Allen adds, “We have to figure it out, but year, we should do it.”

When asked if Lambert was his “closest gay” friend, Allen replied, “As much time as we spend together, I would probably say so.” Lambert answered back, “He’s definitely becoming my closest straight friend…that’s something I am trying to get across that it doesn’t frickin’ matter.”

Allen said, “That’s what’s wrong with the world, why can’t everyone just get along?”

    I am a Lambert fan because he is a world class singer. Kris is a nice guy but not in that league. Why would Adam want to sing with him rather then someone on his level? It would be good for Kris and bad for Adam. I am sure this tour will prove who should have won Idol.

    To Vicki, shoulda, coulda, woulda. Are you still whining and crying about something that happened a month ago. Both Adam and Kris are great friends and Kris’s own openness has shown that he has more class than you could ever have in his one little finger compared to you. If Kris and Adam want to sing together that is none of your business. Kris has proven that he is a great guy, but a few Adam fans are still crying and trying to put down an excellent person like Kris. Who has been nothing but a great friend to Adam and shown that he is a great person, something you should learn. You are low class idiot Vicki.

    Jade, it is not just my opinion, but most of the world believes that Adam Lambert is the most talented entertainer that has ever appeared on American Idol. For you to suggest that Kris is some kind of hero because he is friends with a gay man shows what a narrow minded bigot you are. Adam is by far the more charming and exciting person and Kris is lucky that Adam has befriended him. Adam will be far more successful in the entertainment world and everyone wants to ride his coattails. Why do you think they send Adam on the interviews that in previous years would have been reserved for just the winner? It is because who cares what Kris does except for some whacked homophobe like yourself.

    To Vicki & Jade: One thing Adam has shown us is that he can sing ANYTHING, in any style, anytime, anywhere. If Adam chooses to sing with Kris he’ll sound wonderful, and Kris will too. You two are arguing over nonsense – KNOCK IT OFF!

    Stop being brats! tomorrow the tour begins, and I think its great that Adam and Kris are friends, anything Adam chooses to sing or who he chooses to sing with will be fabulous! Give the guys a break, especially since Kris will have to follow Adam, I actually think their relationship has helped both of them, for Adam – having a straight, down to earth friend that obviously loves him – lets people see that Adam too, is down to earth and a really wonderful guy, and for Kris, I think Adam’s influence has helped him become more “cool”, added to his confidence and style, notice his hair is even a little more spikey, and maybe as they mentioned when they interviewed each other Adam will give Kris some fashion pointers, and maybe they’ll do the nail polish thing again, Adam loves Kris and I’m sure he’s wanting good things for all of them, remember the tour is a complete show. So, be nice, lets enjoy the MUSIC, they’re working hard and they all need our fanship, support and encouragement to get out there and do what we are looking for “Fabulous Entertainment” – something for everyone, stop comparing, I for one wouldn’t want them to be the same, and as the song says “We’re One, but not the Same” ~ thank the Goddess for diversity! Rock on, Allison and everyone else included, I hope the concerts are Hot, Hot, Hot! and that they are all feeling fab! I’m looking forward to seeing them all killin it, and of course, I can’t wait for Adam’s fabulousity, that blue metallic, spiked, studded look is going to blow the house!

    To Vicki: You know, Adam would probably whoop your ass if he ever heard you saying bad stuff about Kris. Admittedly, Adam is a star but so is Kris. They’re from different genres so you can’t really compare. They’re both excellent in their own fields. Even Adam has no hard feelings so why should you? He loves Kris and vice versa (in a totally nonsexual way, but hey, fangirls can dream). They’re happy with the result so back off and stop acting like a crybaby.

    Sounds great. By all accounts they are the best of friends, so why not pass the time on the bus writing together. It has already been said that each one sat with the other while recording their Itunes tracks, so clearly they get along. They may be vastly different musically, but since Adam Lambert really can sing the phone book as the judge stated and I have heard from listening to his tracks on Youtube, Itunes etc, I agree that Adam could easily bend his style to match Kris’s without missing a beat. This to me shows that yes, why can’t we all just get along no matter what the issue is.
