Adam Lambert Talks About His Future & Queen

Adam Lambert was asked to front one of the biggest rock acts in the history of music, Queen. Who wouldn’t die for the chance to sing the songs sung by the late Freddie Mercury?


Lambert says that he’s not ruling out fronting the band, but he does have some other things planned, as well.

When asked about fronting Queen, he said, “That’s a tough question, because, honestly, how do you say no to being in Queen? I mean, that’s unbelievable. But at the same time, I do have my own thing to do right now, and that’s my goal. So if I could, I would try to do both. That’s the honest question. I would try to do both. I would love to perform with them anytime they wanted me to but I also have my record to do. So we’ll see.”

When speaking about his newest endeavor, a new record, he says, “My record will be kind of a rock-pop-electronic-dance thing. I don’t know how to describe it. I think it’s gonna take on a life of its own, as far as genre goes.”

Lambert goes on to reveal that he would love the opportunity to collaborate with Madonna, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.

He added, “Madonna would be amazing. I’d love to work with Madonna – I think she’s a genius. She has great ideas. Lady Gaga is brilliant. She’s got her finger on the pulse. She’s the hot thing right now. Katy Perry’s amazing, absolutely amazing.”

    Lady GaGa!!!! I have no idea why but I keep picturing Adam as the male version of Lady GaGa! it should be because of heir daring personalities, eccentric performances, wonderful vocals and over- the- wall wardrobe choices.     I think the best place for Adam’s voice, reputation, and trip to stardom would be to Collaborate with Queen I mean, who wouldn’t want to be able to go to a GOOD concert of Queen’s. His voice would be best used with Queen, and he’s much better than that other guy they had for a while. How many people do you come across that can hit the notes that Freddie Mercury did and especially since Adam is so young! When Queen is no longer, he’ll still be young enough to go on and do other things he wants. I just wish I could actually see Both Queen and Adam in concert, they are both PURE genius and don’t think this is coming from some old Queen fan that was around when they were still young, I am only 17 and this is, I believe, to be the best thing out there. Forget Lady Gaga and them, I’m not too fond of their singing and Katy Perry’s difference in singing Live, which I believe to be worse than her recorded songs. Not trying to be mean, Adam just deserves to be with one of the best bands of the 20th century.
