We have a special behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the new Papa Roach video for “I Almost Told You That I Loved You”.
To say that this video or the language used herein is not safe for work, would be an understatement. The video discussed below is the uncensored version of the song.
Singer Jacoby Shaddix says, “We wanted to make a video that was totally away from the subject matter of the song, but we got this treatment from this fella named Colin and we read it, and we’re just like, ‘We don’t have to reinvent the wheel. This is a sexy, dirty, nasty song, let’s make that type of video.”
Shaddix goes on about the video, saying that it explores certain festishes and includes footage of a guy hanging from hooks by his back.
Shaddix says that the song itself was inspired by his good friend, Matt Zane, who is a porn producer. He said he was having sex with a girl and the sex was so good that he almost told her that he loved her. Shaddix said that he and his producer looked at each other and said “that’s a f***ing rock n’ roll song right there.”
