Boycotting Katy Perry

Katy Perry rose to the ranks of fame by claiming “Ur So Gay” and later “kissing a girl” and “liking it”. Sure, it was a catchy tune, until the radio played it over and over and over.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton shoved Perry down our throats constantly, telling of how great she is and how “oh-so fashionable” the singer is. The two hung out and became “friends”, thus creating further buzz surrounding her celebrity.
She co-wrote “I Do Not Hook Up” with “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi and the song was given to Kelly Clarkson for her latest album, “All I Ever Wanted”. Clarkson did it better, anyways, so it was a great addition to her album. Albeit, it does contribute to Perry as she received songwriting credit for it. Argh.
She’s been in and out of the press, concerning her relationship virtues, her breakup, and her upbringing, among other things. What I really want to tell everyone is that we’ve had enough of Katy Perry. Please stop trying to make her happen, her cheesy pop music is unwanted. We have all we need in the pop category of music with the likes of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Madonna.
Wikipedia cites Perry being “known for wearing unconventional style of dress, often combining colors and vintage fashion, as well as associating outfits with fruits.” That’s how I want to go down in history.
/Rant off.
