Download Internet Explorer 8; get a craptastic Nickelback song free

by on July 01, 2009 | 8 Comments

The seemingly sly folks over at Microsoft think their software is so crappy that they are even throwing in a free Nickelback song as an incentive to download Internet Explorer 8. Is Bill Gates that hard up to get people to download the new version? And besides that, what kind of incentive is free Nickelback anything?!?

Editors Note: Ear Sucker highly recommends that you download the latest version of Firefox, here.

And to save you the trouble, you can listen to the unreleased track, aptly titled, “Something In Your Mouth” right here. Yes, the something in your mouth is a bad taste left by this whole marketing campaign. Enjoy.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

You’re welcome.

Please don’t patronise the internets. Nickelback is shit. And you’ve lost all respect points with everyone you know because of your statement right there. You are the kind of person that makes every one elses penises retract into their assholes.
