Ex-American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen killed in car accident

Seventh season “American Idol” contestant Alexis Cohen was killed early yesterday morning after being struck by a car in Seaside Heights, N.J.
She was said to have been found at the edge of Dupont Avenue near Bay Boulevard at around 4 a.m. Saturday morning. A driver passing by noticed her and called 911. She was taken to Community Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m.
An autopsy revealed chest, abdominal, and head injuries as a result of the collision.
